Good question! Wet food is not advisable as the main food. It is OK for a treat and for older hedgehogs, but wet food as main food will lead to dental problems. Dry food will keep their teeth healthy. Dog food can be OK, but it depends on the fat and protein content. The best food for hedgehog is usually dry, high protein, low fat cat food
