+web20lawyer Thank you for your input. I've had quite a few people ask about finding these old Lenses, I'll have to do a proper treasure hunting video in 2017:)

Hello, happy holidays, I think if you find other accessories such as vintage flashes, vintage filters (...) this would be a good add-on. Moreover I search desperately what can be the results to the use of a vintage bellows adapted to A6000 for macro photography. I'm French and I have an A6000, thank you for all the information you bring and good luck for the year 2017.

+J.Baptiste Pruja Great idea about the accessories! Still haven't come across a bellows in my shopping, but it would be a fun adaption. Appreciate your support:)

Happy New Year! I would like to see you review the lens by going through the f-stops and determining the sharpness and color rendition of the images it creates along with some video clips, and give us your thought on the review. I think that will give us an idea how good the lens is and whether it's worth looking for one. Showing the price of $6 for the lens you got when it's sold on eBay for $100 doesn't really help us. :) Ultimately, you want viewers to say either: "Man, that was a good review, and it's a good lens. I want one." or "Wow! what a good review. Good thing I didn't pick up that lens." instead of "Shit! That lens goes for $100 on Ebay and he got it for $6. I just saw a picture of some shoes and a video of a fish in a bowl."

Merry Christmas! Keep the good work in 2017! I have a question why the adapters are so big? Probably there is an answer but the lens became so big with those adapters... And a suggestion I would like to see more on field videos with those lens. You could give some tips on how to get the most and the best from this vintage lens. Good luck!
@AdaptedAlpha7 жыл бұрын
+karate kid Appreciate the kind words:) For more info on why the adapters are so big do a google search for "understanding flange focal distance" lots of good illustrations out there. Thanks for the suggestions:)
@mavfan17 жыл бұрын
karate kid Mirrorless cameras are much thinner than DSLRs or even than a Leica M so the adapter is compensating for that so the lens will still be the same distance from the sensor.

I recently found your channel and I like what you do. Your videos are short and to the point, which is critical. I recently purchased a beautiful 300mm Pentax F4. I'd like to hear your opinion on other long lenses. I'd also be interested in your thoughts about what primes an a6000 owner should add. In addition to my 300, I'm thinking about a 50 or 55 and a wide angle, but what focal length? My plan is to stick with the kit lenses when I need zoom flexibility.
@AdaptedAlpha7 жыл бұрын
+Michigan Wheels Appreciate the kind words:) I've done quite a few videos on 28mm, not sure if that's wide enough for you...I think a field of view video would be helpful. Give folks an idea of what these different focal lengths look like on an aps-c sensor. Kit lens is a good choice for zoom/flexibility:)

Forget about 2017. Do you still own your A6000 in 2019 and if not, what has been the cause of betray?
