Max, the scarf is fabulous. I love your idea to b/o in icord, then weave in the end across the row, creating more visual interest. FABULOUS.

I just spent lovely afternoon with you two. It was 72F in North Carolina, which is really too soon, but I will take itI was knitting along as you were talking and several times, I laughed out loud. Another great episode, and I am looking forward to the next one. Your sweaters and the new yarn colors are beautiful. Vincent, you’ve got this! Cheers!

I hope you don’t mind me saying that the two of you are absolutely adorable in your matching sweaters 😊 I’m with Max on horror movies. No thank you. Vincent, I have complete faith in you! You can get that sweater done! I know for sure you will finish it before I finish my So Basic sweater 😅

I have an old Bernina 831 (from the 70ies or early 80ies) and it works perfectly also for heavier fabrics for bags, etc. I do all my sewing with that machine. Thanks for all your inspirations in your podcast! Thinking about starting to weave to use up more of my stash. I was very suprised to see your woven shawls! I really like them!

The Maja cardigan is beautiful. If I were to knit it again I would not do the sleeve decreases as the sleeves turned out too tight. It is so fun to knit, though. I dont have a problem with rustic yarn but Lettlopi is very scratchy

The Cadet blue yarn reminds me of the paint called Blackest Black. It seems to absorb light - and when you popped that out, it was the first thing I thought. You’re right - light goes in, but it doesn’t come back out…

The song from last episode was Fat bottomed girl from Queen for comment-readers who might wonder. Vincent (my son) was very proud to be kind of quoted about that :D In France-french, we do say dos d'âne (donkey's back) maybe because a donkey ride is kinda jumpy/bumpy ? But we also say gendarme couché (rarely, I think the last person I heard say that is my great-aunt who's turning 102 this year or maybe her baby sister - aka my grand-mother who "only" turned 92 yo last week) which can translate as Sleeping policeman (men at arms ? guard ?). And Vincent, I do believe you can finish that Single malt ! Bottom up ! Cul-sec ! Have faith ! Maxim is right tho, if it starts to feel like an endless nightmare, maybe some time out will be a good option for that sweater.

Yes!!! Shania! I laughed at "old horror movies", I was a teen when "The exorcist" came out! 😂 I read "It", I'm not a fan of clowns! I love the differences in your sweaters. I had my bff's 1922 singer for years, fully operational treadle machine, she's finally in a place where she has room for it & was shocked that I "gifted" it back....I had to, it belonged to HER grandmother. ☺️ You make me want to break out one of my machines and make something. So excited for the new club!! Hopefully I'm lucky enough to get one.... My yarn pantry is full, but I'm willing to squeeze this one in.... Already thinking shawl. 💞

Max, I have the same problem with hats. 99% look weird on me. So I guess I won’t make that one. Lol! Apperal spritz was my turning 70 celebratory drink. I really like it. The matching sweaters look good and, Vincent, it does not look like 12” of positive ease. Vincent your triple brimmed Aran weight hat would he the one to wear when taking the pup out when it is -40. I think the song about round bottoms might me “ I love big buts I cannot lie” or something like that. Lol! So glad you didn’t end up with a screw loose with the sewing machine repair, Vincent! 🤣
