It’s so conflicting really, like they know what happened in Inazuma and all the other stuff that happened in their organization they acknowledge it even. I kind of feel for the traveler in a way because they’re very conflicted if they could trust them knowing what the Fatui did.

But, as for a fictional characters, they can be showing to how desperate measures people will go facing impossible odds. After all they are not against any Archon, they are throwing hands on Celestia itself. There is no justified evil, but I understand why some of them might feel justified. This is but a fiction, window into another world, and we as viewers will judge the story, characters in it and their motives. Even if they are wrong and even if the story will go against what we think is right and how should go, we can still enjoy it and think about it what we want. For example, noone wants to live in dystopian society, and yet it is important to look at those fictions once in a while and think about them.
