I was very sorry to hear of Louie's passing this past November (2021). We were from the same town, Palmer Mass, and my earliest recollection of seeing him was at Pulaski Park in Three Rivers at the Polish Picnics in the 1960's. My parents, relatives, and most of the town were always there. What a great time. An era gone by. I continued seeing his band at the many Polka dances in New England until the new millennium. He was the best. My two children also saw him many times as I had continued the tradition of bringing them to the Polish gatherings until they reached adulthood. I am blessed to have such great memories of this great artist and my heritage. I truly miss Louie and his band. There will never be anyone as great.
