The K-Mart Power Pro gave me a laugh. I do like when Harvey gets creative to get the job done. Parts mostly I guess. Doubtful that engine would ever come off the deck without snapping deck bolts most likely.

Got one in like your power pro. Mine is a Weedeater brand, self propelled, primer bulb is on the gas tank. Never saw one like it. 91 model, front wheel drine with chrome metal spoke high rear wheels. Got it running and had a cable in stock to fix the drive system. Front wheels are completely bald, rubber trying to fall off. Amazingly they are still available but cost prohibitive. Thinking of attaching tread from a bicycle tire? Quite the quandary. Not worth the time required, but I hate to scrap it because it is so unusual.

I got a 1980 wards riding power with a Tecumseh 10HP motor which finally threw a rod threw the case. Believe it or not I found a NOS factory short block for 63 bucks delivered. $ 63! cuz it had one broken cooling fin. Runs like new now. But that thing would have rotted away where you live. I live in So Cal though so I been using the hell out of it. I spent a lot of time in Florida working. The only difference between Florida and Cali is the humidity. My condolences for living in Florida. I can't stand the humidity

Those swivel front wheel mowers are for places with lots of obstacles to mow around those old briggs have a slightly smaller air filter metal backing plate with primer bulb by tank

The one with the swivel wheels you can connect the kill wire to the throttle control because here in New Zealand we don’t have those safety handle things and the kill wire in in with the throttle control lever
