Turn to Jesus people, he died for your sins. Repent of what the New testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel get baptized and obey the teachings of Jesus. The gospel and the teachings of Jesus are documented in Matthew Mark Luke and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, if you have faith in Jesus through your faith you will live by his teachings. God bless you all in Jesus name amen.,

I just fixed a craftsman for a good friend of mine and he traded me 3 "turds on 4 wheels " i started it with ether it had a horrible shake. after tipping it on its side i found it had one of those Chinese blade adapters . I took the plug out and spun the blade, it was 3/8" off! Ridiculous! I thought the crankshaft was bent but no it was the adapter it was welded that far off!

Oh yes, if the adapter isn’t just the right size it will make a terrible clunking noise. I bought a set of calipers just to measure the shaft diameters. The battery operated digital calipers are way easier to use than the old fashioned vernier calipers. Just FYI🤓

I always pull the blower housing and spin the flywheel with an impact on the flywheel nut to check the coil, disconnecting the kill wire from the coil. If the coil is bad, I am ready to change it out.

wow, the TB230 used to have a 190cc engine? It only has a 163cc engine now, and the price is higher. bastards hahahahaha. 190cc does seem like overkill though for a 21 inch mower. I've seen 24 inch riding mowers with a 190cc engine and they ran just fine.
@timewa851
@timewa851 21 сағат бұрын
The 190cc is considered a big block now. Usually for self-propel . Great engines, Quantums.

the reasoning for having the front wheels higher then the rear by 1 level, is it mulches better. because when the mower first goes over the grass it cuts it at a higher level but when the rear of the mower moves over it it cuts it a little shorter but has less to cut. and smaller clippings . it also helps the engine some no bog down . cheers happy saturday.

I'm pulling my hair out! I picked up a craftsman 7.0 platinum yesterday and it was free but looked like brand new everywhere. It was severely overfilled with oil.so drained it down and cleaned carb which wasn't really dirty but had orange gas in it so got rid of that refueled and it won't start got spark and juiced it it?almost starts but it's blowing oil and smoke out the crankcase breather when I pull it. What to do ? Call it no compression and move on or what? Did I miss something?

Tommy. Not to second guess you, but you need to spin the engine faster to make a good spark. One issue I’ve been seeing. Is the rubber needle seat swells and fuel will only dribble into the carb so it runs out of fuel faster than it refills. To test this. I let it run until it dies. Then give it a shot of juice. If it starts. You know it’s a fuel issue. I’ve just seen so few coils go bad that I’m Leary

Tommy, I would remove the top cover and gas tank. Give the engine a good cleaning and also the tank. Remove carb, blow out the fuel line . While the top is off, remove coil and kill wire and clean the contacts. Drain oil and pull valve cover inspect for water and adjust the valves. After the carb cleaned , pull muffler and blow it out and inspect exhaust port for water and debris. Put it all back together and if oil showed any eayer contamination, I would put some good, used oul init. After it running, while still warm, change oil, put in new oil. Lube all cables and the starter recoil WD40 works great for water issues and rust in a recoil. Lube the wheel and you will be able to get top dollar for it after s shine job.
