I love the Mondays and have been listening to them loads recently and realise that what they were made out to be and what they were are two different things. They had loads of different influences and ended up part of a scene. They remind me of bands like Madness and the Sex Pistols. They had an image around their necks but we're actually brilliant and innovative outliers who clearly loved music.

I play bass and think that the playing itself is ok, problem is simply too high in mix. He’s occasionally a little in front of the beat, but mixed right wound sound fine
