What’s worse is there IS more episodes out there. I used to watch this show when I was a wee little kid, and I recall seeing more than just these 13 episodes. Like there was an episode the red bad nessy gets a locket that makes him stronger and he kicks the other bad nessies out of their nest and the good nessies take them in. There was another episode where the twin brother have a bonding moment, so there is more out there, but I can’t find anything else. Nothing on Wikipedia, IMDB, or KZbin. I fear it may be lost media.

I'm only aware of this show because when I was little an old Mom and Pop shop had party supplies for sale with the characters on it and I always wondered why I had never seen this tv show/movie before. I remember this!! I rented it from my local family owned video store at about 7 years old. When I wanted to rent it again later, the owner had no idea what “Nessie” movie I was talking about. I never found it again! It totally broke my heart because I loved it so much lol. I also remember being hit in the feels hard when I watched “It’s not bad to be sad”. As a little girl, I swear I had NEVER wanted to hug a cartoon character more than Sad Ness in my life! 😥

I sympathize with all those confused comments who find out that this cartoon really existed. It seems like this obscure franchise was broadcasted in EU too : I discovered it myself as a child during a night of insomnia, i was sick and delirious because of the fever. I do not know why this cartoon was broadcasted so late at night in my country...It was pretty counterproductive, and the dubbing in my language was really bizzare. In my tiredness I only kept a nebulous memory of it. Finally found it by chance, well...Uh...Thanks Internet? And thank Bob ! :V

Each of the Nessie creatures has a name that ends in "Ness" such as "Happy Ness", "Brave Ness" and "Lovely Ness", and one who is simply referred to as "Eliot"...a play on Eliot Ness, the government agent who headed the task force known as "The Untouchables" in 1930's Chicago. Younger kids won't get that reference.

I got that impression waaaay back in the mid-1990's when I first saw the toys...since the original My Little Pony toy line was fading out of popularity, "Happy Ness" was hoping to be the next My-Little-Pony-style toy sensation. My Known Happy Ness: The Secret of the Loch Postive Opinions 1. It based on the the Loch Ness monster myth especially 2. The nessies's style design and similar to My little Pony. 3. It's one of my best favorite girl cartoons and Fox Kids TV shows. 4. My Favorite nessies are Happy Ness and Lovely Ness. My Known Happy Ness: The Secret of the Loch Negative Opinions 1. The cartoon lasted only 13 episodes 2. The cartoon has almost been forgotten, only 8 of the 13 episodes still exist in two VHS. 3. The evil Nessies are only more like anti-villains unlike and less greater villains than Mr. McJoy.
