For new years I wanted to represent 2021 somehow that showed 20 and 21 being sequential. I was thinking of having a complete circle that wrapped around instead, but didn't want that part to be revealed right away, so I came up with this. This was shot in 3 segments. The count down was setup and knocked down before the rest was setup, and the final 21 was present from the start, but was toppled separately so I could change camera angles and use fewer cameras. One of the confetti/fireworks launchers appears like it didn't trigger, but it did. The dominoes inside the launcher jammed. This was a last minute project built entirely on New Years eve, so the design/layout was rushed and feels a bit sloppy to me. FAILS: The 19 looks like it's edited, but it did fall that way, however the 15 came to complete stop :(

@@flippycat do you know that someone could theoreticly build biggest flatPyramid ON TOP of biggest cube????? suprisingly there are a few builders with just enough dominoes as far as ammount of dominoes used it's around 50,000-60,000 whitch is Very close To the biggest structure because a while ago team of builders built a huge wall with 60.000 dominoes whitch is curently the largest structure

also biggest cube is curetly 17 x 34 x 34 with slightly over 20,000 dominoes BUT the base of this cube/flatpyramid combo would have to be 22x48x48 that's around 35,000 dominoes for the CUBE Alone and 5 layers larger than curent cube record But the chance of failure on a 3Dsrtucture This BIG is probably the main reason why 3Dstructure of this size was never built well except for that time when DominoDay tried building a tallset structure . . . THAT Might have 60,000+ dominoes because that was big from All Sides

Amazing setup! Putting mini dominoes in the launchers was a really creative idea, the light up dominoes worked really well too. The best part was definitely ending, it was really clever. Happy New Year :)

Very ingenious to count from 20 to be able to say 2021 and the part that I liked the most about this video was the cannons throwing mini dominoes as if they were fireworks! Happy New Year! 🥳☺️👍
