Hard as it is. These lessons are great for kids, they learn its ok to miss things and not have to have things back to fix it, they find something else that gives them joy. So many parents do not teach letting go. Fast forward and you have young men and women who can't cope with any type of loss.

Doing Santa, Elfie & the tooth fairy - are all innocent things that we do for our kids when they're little to grow their imaginations. It is harmless. I do think keeping Elfie in it's appropriate season is good - like no visits outside of Christmas. And personally - I'm proud of Brock for not enjoying burlesque or strip shows - and saying so. My husband doesn't care of that either. He doesn't even like going to hooters. LOL. Hope y'all are having a great start to the new year! I love Janet - always have! And it's really nice getting to know Jared!

Stop with elf and being so extreme about it. What’s going to make it an issue is all this intense focus on these crazy details and trying to create these narratives when there shouldn’t even be a narrative you discuss with Summer. Making the story and then the “white lie” so intense is wild & is what will be unhealthy. It’s what will create the, issue, not the actual lie. This much focus into this is way too intense. Just be done with it. He’s in the portal and gone. That’s it. Don’t mention it. Just stop. If she says where’s is he just say idk where he goes. He’ll be back next year. That’s it. If he were real, you wouldn’t have all the answers as to what he does, when he goes or why. You don’t have the answers and you shouldn’t have them and that’s ok. It’s ok to not know things. Especially magical things. Again, you shouldn’t & wouldn’t have these answers. Stop feeding into the white lie & creating an issue because of it. Just let magic be what it is.
