OMG, Kelly, you're hysterically funny. Sometimes I miss what you're saying because I'm laughing! Thanks for the card tutorials, but most of all, thanks for the goofy stories. You missed your calling as a stand-up comic. One of my sisters decided to go on stage at a local comedy club and she invited the family to come give her support. Well, the place was rocking with laughter and her family was hiding behind the food and drink menus because we were her funny stories. Gotta love her though!!

You always crack me up, and your gift exchange story was the best story yet! Hysterical! And I'm with you: the inappropriate, naughty gifts are the best--when exchanged with the right people! My husband's side of the family is getting together in a few weeks to celebrate Christmas and someone suggested we do a White Elephant gift exchange 'cause we don't really need anything in particular. I gave this idea a 2-thumbs up...and then two of the family members decreed that the gifts should be somewhat practical and "normal" gifts that would appeal to many people. Drat! They just sucked the fun right outta that gift exchange--LOL! I guess I should be thankful I know what to expect ahead of time. ;-)

My funny story... a few weeks ago my family had a B-day party.I have 3 Grandsons.. 5,7,10. So my middle Grandson Brayden wanted to do something... his Mother said No... He looked at me "like well", I told him I can't override your Mom..(child logic here)He says " Well you are Mom's Mom right"... Yes (Me).So she has to listen to You( he was trying to work the system). My Daughter said "Ne-Ne hasn't been the boss of me for many yrs".(she is almost 30).I whispered to him " No but I can still spank her if she needs it... Omg, he thought that was great!! ( not that I really can or will, but I was playing along with his thought)... I laughed till I cried.

I love the card and had to place an order, of course. I also love your stories. We always host Christmas, and our best/funniest gifts are the stocking stuffers my husband buys at the dollar store. Over the years my daughter and/or daughter-in-law have gotten things like pregnancy tests, feminine hygiene products, and other 'unexpected' items along with the goofy things he buys. Last year I got a sort of leotard that looks like Santa's clothes...I'm 68 and do not have a leotard wearing body. LOL He also purchases a silly hat of some sort for all of us to wear. One year it was dinosaur faces, and we all have to wear ours while opening gifts.

I’ve looked at Inkbox and have considered buying some because like you I’m interested in tattoos but not sure if I want a permanent one. May have to get some now! I also loved Rainbow Bright! And Strawberry Shortcake - how the dolls smelled like their signature fruit. One of mine and my sisters favorites was JEM - JEM is excitement! Awesome card Kelly! I was giggling about your Christmas present story. A few years back my husbands family suggested a fun secret Santa since the WHOLE family was getting together. For some reason I got the fun part mixed up and my brain thought naughty fun gift. Anyhow so I bought some possum nipple warmers and a possum willy warmer, wrapped them up and popped them in the big basket at the front door as we each entered. There was a huge crowd there including my brother in laws sister who is a NUN!! so secret Santa part had arrived and we were all randomly picking out a gift each......and as people started to unwrap their presents I noticed that the fun gifts were things like water guns, water balloons, funny masks etc....my stomach dropped and lurched all at the same time and I started to get the giggles, i whispered to my husband that I think we misunderstood the gift giving ideas , and I said my luck the nun will get it haha... Who got the possum warmers? 😱The NUN of course!! OMG!! She sitting there saying 'I don't understand what this gift is?' ... thankfully someone change their gift with her . Haha what a Christmas , something we all remember and laugh about, wee quiet wendy and her secret Santa gift 😅😇

Kelly,, The tattoo looks cute. I don't have any tattoos and neither does my husband. I am a Nurse and have always felt it inappropriate. To have tattoos all over and then say, hi I am your Critical Care Nurse just didn't seem ? Credible or respectable. That being said, I have always secretlly wanted one, maybe in a place where only I could enjoy it. That kit you bought sounds like a fun way to try it out. Love your card. Love your conversations. Kathryn Sloan you can get tattoos just not on say your neck,hands etc. There's so many places your patients, coworkers, boss won't even have a clue that you have them.I love my tattoos and even have some on the back of my neck in Asian writing in remembrance of my parents that Noone at my work knows I have because my hair covers it and most my friends have no clue even if I wear a ponytail lol. Just make sure you LOVE it whatever it is before you do it. You won't regret it. Good luck

I get it about, “flap,” but I must admit that I used to call my Great Dane, “Flappy Lips,” as a nick name. I like the temp tattoo idea. No matter how much I love an image I’d wish for a change after some amount of years and therefore have never had the guts to get one. I still say you should be a stand-up comedian... Hi Marta! I appreciate your viewpoint on tattoos. However, Leviticus 19 also says that you can't wear clothes sewn with two different threads and that if a man lays with a slave girl who isn't promised to a man he can pay off her master and then offer the Lord a goat to seek forgiveness. Thankfully, Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins making all of us holy. He fulfilled the old testament so that we no longer have to sacrifice goats. So, I think tattoos are okay now too as long as they don't bring shame or distract from God. Thanks for your input. I hope you enjoyed the video!

You talked about so many things, I don't know where to start. Let's see...cellophane ball? What's that? I can see why you don't like the word, "Flap," because it's a 4-letter word. How about lid or top? Also, YOU didn't create the stamp so I can say this: in real life that lid would not cover the top of the box fully. There would be a rectangular gap because those "Top Closure Pieces " are not big enough. Just saying....Still like it though. I'm so glad to see you using Stickles.
