Cut into a comic? Nooo! I think there was a trading card in an old comic I got recently. I think it was attached between the pages and maybe you had to cut the card on a line to get it out. Have to take a second look to be sure. The calendar is a great idea! I’ve started to get more Mini Brands capsules and I open one part of it a day (at least for the ones that have capsule sections like an orange).

Were you referring to the Jim Lee drawn X-Men cards? Lol I still have them, and yes, Rogue's intelligence level is shown at 1. Meanwhile The Juggernaut is at 2, which makes no sense, considering that this is the 90s Juggernaut we're talking about. Anyways, I wish you all the best for the new year!
