For me, major songs are great aswell but theres usually a risk of them sounding too pretentious and generic while most minor songs usually sound like they are made with true passion. They feel like they have a hidden message inside, while most major songs are all about creating that joyful feeling. This is how i feel personally, its all subjective. Not expecting you to feel the same.
