Not hating on Clara but I think I prefer Eunji because as a girl I would want to idolize her rather than Clara. Eunji is smart, thoughtful, sexy and polite. I understand that Clara was just being blunt and "innocent" while speaking her mind but comparing herself to Hyori and saying that she "beat" her was unnecessary. If she doesn't want to respect Eunji's opinion thats fine but at least respect your senior. Clara is from the States but I'm pretty sure she's aware of the Korean culture since she's been there long enough. It was just sad to see her lose her dignity like that just for entertainment. Agreed. I'm not from korean nor have I live in korea but watching korean drama and variety shows made me realize how much koreans emphasize respect for their seniors. If I know that I think Clara should have also realize that and show some humility towards hyori. Even if Clara thinks she is better than hyori she should have just zipped her mouth and keep it to herself because hyori is her senior.

I know a lot of you are hating on Clara but if it wasn't for her ~perfect image in the episode, Park Eunji wouldn't have been able to slip into that underdog image. Even though it might have been frustrating whilst recording, I bet Eunji is thankful to Clara because their ~rivalry in this episode shows off how funny and adorable Eunji can be. Park Eunji said she models her career after Lee Hyori and one of the reasons Lee Hyori is so successful in varieties is because she can made fun of/laughed at while still being sexy and taking every hit gracefully. If Eunji would've came on alone, she'd be put in this perfect image which doesn't fit with any female celebrity who wants to get popular on varieties

... I just keep seeing Allkpop posting "news" about Clara so i decided that i will check her out (seeing all the hate by others, i just got curious about what kind of person she is). Just feel like making some observations and stuff after seeing this, and my own thoughts. First thing, Clara was like born in the US or something, so perhaps after spending some time there, her mindset and way of speaking has changed and become different from native koreans'. She seems like way too open and she doesn't really think of the consequences before speaking. Saying that her photoshoot outshine Lee Hyori's just based on 1 article she found online, that is SIMPLY NOT the correct thing to do. She will just gain hate from Hyori's fans, or normal people who heard what she said, considering the fact that Hyori is more senior than her and definitely have more experience than her. Who is she to say that she herself is very good / better than others / the best?! She shld learn what she should say and what she shouldn't. She only looks and thinks of herself (she said that herself), maybe it's time for her to consider others around her, just like Park EunJi. She's too stuck up. I see why people would say she's like a "b*tch". I know that many things are scripted in here, but i am sure some of the mean (idk if it's intentional by Clara herself) comments by Clara are NOT in the script. Just look at the MC's / other guests faces when she said them! They seriously looked shocked! But considering that this is a variety show, they couldn't do anything but go along with it. This is the first time I've seen this Clara person and she acted perfectly fine to me. In fact, she was really entertaining. Plus, this is a variety show that is scripted. A lot of varieties reinforce roles to make shows look entertaining. Very few celebrities really let go on variety. Umm.. I believe in any country, people would agree that Clara was way over the line. So much that even though this is the first time I have seen both Clara and Eunji, I already dislike Clara. She is clearly fake to the extent that it's annoying. Also, it was clearly stated in the episode that Eunji is older than Clara, but Clara acts as if that's totally irrelevant. It isn't that Asians are against free speech and letting people's personality shine, but that they find it important to respect those who are on a higher level than them or "sunbae." It's like a person putting down their supervisor. You might think that it's a ridiculous analogy, but that's just how the Asian culture is. Michelle isn't a communist. You just need to accept the fact that this is how Asian culture is, particularly in South Korea. But putting Asian culture aside, I'd doubt that you would like to be treated like Eunji was. Clara dissed her role model, she said that she didn't do yoga before and did what Eunji did but better which clearly shows she has done yoga before (she said she did yoga on another TV show) ultimately ridiculing Eunji, and the fact that she tries to make everything Eunji says seem bad (for example, how she didn't assess others but herself makes it seem like Eunji likes to pry in everything). I don't hate Clara in particular, I just think she went a little too far in this show.

Clara was somewhat entertaining on this episode but she upset me with her comments... saying she's better than Lee Hyori (even if its just about a photoshoot thing) was bad. Plus I understood the whole "Rivals" concept but Eunji looked like she felt really helpless and offended at times cause Clara literally tried to one-up EVERYTHING she did and said. Haters are going to hate but I don't understand why people dislike her so much. Did she do anything mean to you? Be in her shoes and go through the feelings shes been thru. She can finally reveal herself to the world after so many years of being a nobody and atleast shes not fake. This is her real personality and if you dont like it then go somewhere else. Eunji is the one trying to hard to compete with Clara but Clara is just way to advance. Sorry to be too defensive but im a true Clara fan.
