What you actually on about? Lad I went school with played Ben in series 2 (son of the detective) and he told me what its like. He was such a small role but they treated him the same as Sarah. He was able to workshop his dialogue with Sally to make it more realistic, he was paid more than enough to keep him comfortable for a while. How is any of that bad? Wainwright has done more for calderdale than our own council has

Sarah Lancashire may be a brilliant actress BUT this got spoilt by the mumbling crap she came out with. The writing & story line may have been brilliant but I could not follow it because the volume was that low. The sound engineer needs sacking & Sarah needs to look at her speech performance. Mumbling spoilt the performance.

Oh get a grip, do you never mumble? And just to let you know, I lived in Halifax all my life, people talk like this here. Appreciate the good writing, if the volume bothers you that much read subtitles and quit being miserable
