I do a clay mask on my daughter (8) and my hair once a month. It has worked wonders in just 2 months. Our hair is more soft and manageable and our curls POP!!! I mix aloe vera gel (leaf), apple cider vinegar, water, and sweet almond oil with it. Let it sit for like 20 mins then apply it and let it sit for like 20 to 30 mins. Rinse and follow up with a deep conditioner....BUTTER!!!

Two things: 1. Dont use the metal spoon. The metal extracts some of the nutrient from the clay. 2. You dont have to wash your hair first. It will cleanse everything from the hair anyway. Otherwise, as always, your hair is gorgeous.

@@nysheikaj Hey 4C sista! For the clay mask I usually add apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, almond oil and peppermint oil and let that sit on my hair for about 30 minutes. Then I do a deep condition using a shea moisture conditioner mixed with tea tree oil, almond oil and peppermint oil. When deep conditioning I usually sit under the dryer with a bag on my head to make sure the deep conditioner really penetrates each strand of my hair to help my hair stay hydrated. I use Camille Rose products such as the Rice Milk and Macadamia Oil moisture milk for daily hydration.

RIIIIGHT! When I see traditional indians, middle-eastern folks or africans mix this, henna or other powers they use metal spoons, bowls, etc. 😂
@jandrews39135 жыл бұрын
@@alyariel9713 the molecular properties of henna and some other products are not the same as particular product. This product absorbs impurities and heavy metals, so by using a metal spoon the clay is going to immediately react to the spoon and start absorbing the metal. So now instead of It pulling impurities out of your scalp and hair, your now slathering metal molecules that could be toxins to your health all over your hair and scalp. It clearly states in the directions to use non-metal bowls and utensils so there's really no excuse for her not to know. We should all make every effort to be informed on at least the basic available information. So we just putting stuff in our hair without reading directions now? Nobody's coming for her, we just wanted her to know because it really does matter and we care about each other's well being. Not only that, if she had decent results while doing it all wrong, imagine how it will work at full strength when it hasn't already started working on the spoon before it ever touched her hair. Information is power and building blocks of wisdom. Soak it up, don't knock it, especially when it's freely being shared with your benefit in mind.

It should have felt like you didnt even need a conditioner. I would love for you they it again with a plastic spoon and see if your results are different. Also, rake it thru your hair in sections v/s just smoothing it on... also make a bit extra and put it on your face as a mask... it is everything! Tightens the pores, clarifies the skin wow! Is that a plastic spoon? Using metal utensils reduces the effectiveness of the clay as it absorbs metals from your skin/scalp. And, I'm not sure about most people, but I deep condition my hair first and then follow up with leave in conditioner and styler after, instead of deep conditioning. I find it cancels out the url clumpage that way.

I think you'd like the Terresentials mud wash- Be aware, that its best to let it dry on your hair for the first use for a few hours. It pulls the impurities from your hair so you can feel a gumminess that goes away with continued use and with use of "natural" products. Follow instructions on the site.. Lavender, Sultry Spice, or Lemon are best for our type.

Hey Rayna 🙋🏽♀️ my face went like this 😳 when I saw the metal spoon, but your hair came out beautiful (as usual). I think “all of us” near bout fainted because when using a metal spoon with the Aztec clay it causes the clay to lose its magnetic 🧲 (negative) charge... meaning that could cause the clay to be less effective (pull out the impurities). However, clearly it is gonna have to take a lot more metal, than in a spoon!!! You are good dear 👌🏽
