​@@happydrawingwithfrankrodgersI was also wondering what that fold in the paper that you had your hand on, were you using that as kind of a vertical guideline to her face? Your hand couldn't have gotten dirty, so I wondered why it was there. 😊

@@cathystaub4645 Thanks for your question. I used that piece of paper to prevent my hand from smudging my pencil lines as I moved up the paper. When you're using a soft pencil like I was (a 5B) it's advisable to do that in order to keep your drawing clean.
