Beautiful green plants, you have green thumb!! Start a curry leaves plant, they grow very well inside with heat in Winter too. I have 2 of them in huge pots and 4 Jasmine plants. When they flower, whole house smells so good!! Yes!! I buy bird chillies and freeze them. Must have green chillies, garlic and ginger to cook, for me I have to have curry leaves and cilantro too! 😁

How to grow curry leaves in Canada inside home

@@ritukh3043 Get a small curry leaves plant about 6", plant in a taller narrower pot with a good soil. Put the pot by the sunny window so it gets atleast few hours of Sun everyday. Once they start growing, pinch off the top after you get 3 new branches so they grow denser. Add some Miracle grow every 3 mnts, change the pot every 2 years. That's it! You can use the leaves after the leaves get darker and bigger from the lower branches. Good luck! :)

Hi Suchi! The rubber plant is vry nice..just check it if you can keep it in house..because even im a plant lover and i got a msg that you cannot keep rubber plant..indoor because it releases poisonous gas..thats why even we didnt keep it...i may be wrong🙈 just check once..because of the kids.

Suchi, my suggestion is not to try ordering from Amazon, don't rush. You can join Facebook gardening group in your area in Prince George or Canada. In that group, Indians exchange/ share plants or sell plants if they have plenty or they share/sell seeds too and share many tips for growing curry leaf plants & several different desi plantsand seeds. Now since u have backyard also, next summer you can do more gardening. Just ask others or research. Since you have a green thumb you can easily grow curry leaf plant. All the best to you 😍😘

Suchi when you get karipatta in bulk, microwave it on a plate for 2 minutes or so till it becomes crunchy. You can then store the dried leaves on the shelf. Lasts forever. When it’s put in the dish, it will take its shape again like fresh ones. Been doing this for over a year now.

Whenever there’s a problem I always say drink water, go take a shower and apply Boroline. All pain will be gone!! And Omg I got 1/2 of that size Rubber plant from Fred Meyer garden section for $19.99 US dollars. You got a great deal. I will check Costco tomorrow too. It’s such a great size for Rubber plant!

For green chillies, I also buy a lot at a time. Wash well and keep on paper towel till water dries out. Remove stems and store in a container/ziploc bag with a paper towel and freeze.

I can send you curry seeds which can grow in any pot. We are forced to weed out the plants from our courtyard which grow from the fallen seeds. It means it can grow from seeds.

Hi why don't u grow Kari plant thru seed......bcz in India Kari patta Ka growth time end ho Gaya .......it will bloom after February at my place m in Ghaziabad........ Jab curry leaves zyada milte ho, usko dho ke sukha lo. Phir urad dal, red chillies and kadi patta bhoon ke mixie me powder bana lo. U can put it in everything..flavour bhi and healthy bhi...even rice me ghee dalke ye powder mix karke khate hai south india me. Mein apne husband ko onsite jaate waqt deti hu..try it..bachcho. Ko bhi pata nahi chalega patta hai

I saw the episode but didnot get time to send a comment So here is my comment It’s a suggestion always drink juice with fiber and the juicer you have is throwing all the fiber and providing only juice which will be diluted form so more sugar I use vitamix for my juices, even dosa and idli batter it comes out so well like smooth, even stones can get grounded in vitamix , also hot soups it’s amazing product , all big juices shops use vitamix It’s definitely a bit costly but cause you drink daily maybe thanksgiving you can check or Costco always has offer They have starting from low price to high price available You get basil in Home Depot too, but sweet basil not Indian tulsi
