He explained it once in his video, that basically he recorded himself about the subject and just listened to it all the time. Like all the time, even when he went to sleep and was sleeping. He said he grew tired and annoyed of his voice because he listened to it so much. And he was not a full time youtuber at the time so he gave in all his time to studying. Look it up it is definitely up somewhere in his older videos.
