Pretty standard whoop i guess, but man i'm impressed how much electronics they can stuff into such a small board these days... Back then we had a single ESC that would be bigger than this board, and this contains pretty much all electronics accept for a camera and motors...

Mine arrived today and the tune on it is dangerous and almost unflyable. The pids are waaaay too high and cause the motors to pulse fast - and as air mode is permanently on by default - it just shot to the moon as soon as I armed it. Put it onto default Betaflight pids ( profile 2 ) and it flys nice as long and smooth as bitter now and really quiet. How that tune got out the factory I don't know. I've put 20 packs through it today so far and its become an immediate favourite.

Your FC might be screwed down too tight for factory PIDs. But I think the factory PID tune was done on a prototype and not the final production build so they need to address that issue.

Bi blades and those motors mean you better keep throttle up to have any real race control and bi's always feel a little loose. I like them on a more grunty 802/803 on 2s. I wonder how it would feel with HQ tris or Gemfans?

I did try them but the motors got hot. It needs to be re-tuned for 3 blades. Also the flight time decreased by about 30%. Probably some of that is due to the wrong tune. I'm sure someone else with loads of time on their hands will find a good tune on 3 blades.

Just got this quad, I found the camera angle was a bit high which led me to go really fast all the time. Decreasing as well as using a throttle limit and auto level made it more suitable for indoor weaving type stuff.

Mine will be here Sunday. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on my Zorro pre-order and have no controller. The right gimbal in my jumper T-lite is no longer centering, even after multiple calibrations. It has a different center value depending on what direction it was before center. ☹️

Yes, they have nothing to do with each other. I'm talking about the rates that came on the whoop from the factory. I didn't adjust them to my flying style. It may take me a few weeks to dial those in. I figure you guys want to see a video before I sit around messing with rates for a while.

Hello Albert, I recently bought the mobeetle6 watching your video I found it very interesting but I have a problem with the video that I see in black and white with my glasses it only happens to me with the mobeetle6 with the other drones I can see well but the videos are recorded in color ...it's crazy. Any suggestions....

That's an issue with your receiver in the goggles. You may need to adjust some settings for it to lock on to the signal completely. The reason it's black and white is because the signal is out of sync. You'll need to consult your goggle and/or receiver manual for instructions on how to adjust the settings.

The way you're describing the motors is more to do with props than the motors, try it on tri blades and you'll see it flies a lot differently and doesn't have so much of that dropping effect

Comes with experience. However, it's also personal preference. These BNFs come with what they think the market wants generally but some people won't like it too. There's no perfect combination. What's perfect is what you discover you like for YOU.

I forgot to mention that. It was HORRIBLE. Shorter flights, hot motors. The extra weight of the prop is too much for the tiny motor. Don't even bother with it.

@@AlbertKimTV I was hoping it might be better, but I don't think I'll ever be a fan of the 07xx motors. 0802 really is the sweet spot for 65mm especially for racing.

0802s are definitely the sweet spot imo for whoops. I haven't tried 0702s but judging from multiple channels options it seems like I'm sticking with 0802s for all my whoops

Good looking whoop. Love the diamond AIO but that ELRS antenna seems like an afterthought. I’m cool with moving away from ceramic but it would have been nice if they’d put a ufl option in its place. I think most of us would take the extra 0.05g for a bit more flexibility and durability - I sure would, at least.

u.FL connectors are notorious for breaking off the board. Then the whole board needs to be replaced. They're thinking about all the crashes and pissed off people who will want to return it if they used u.FL. I think they made the correct choice here.

@@AlbertKimTV Notorious, you say? Interesting. I’m not saying I don’t believe you - I’m not in your position and trust that you’ve heard that frequently enough to call it a notorious issue. Just saying, I feel like I’ve heard about that on occasion but certainly not often enough to call it a widespread problem. Maybe I mount my antennas a bit more carefully than most, but in the past 6 years I’ve only ever pulled one u.FL and that was on a unify with a carelessly mounted antenna. Or maybe it’s more specific to whoop boards than uFL’s in general? Idk… Regardless, as always, thanks for all your hard work AK. You the real MVP!

This wire are coated like one used in motor stator.
