@@noveliayuki I agree with you. To me, even the calmest cats of nature can be super scary to groom. I am not saying the cat is bad at all. The cat is definitely just letting the groomer know that it does not like getting groomed, ha ha. It would take me a ton of courage to try to bathe and groom even the calmest cat though. Cat groomers have a ton of skills, and they have my respect!

Haha the expression says it all I think the towel therapy helped it calm a bit and it eventually realized it's more of a massage than intrusion!! The grooming lady did an excellent job in handling this customer :)

I found this so soothing to watch. His grumpy/angry face was so funny at first, then half way through he looked like he wanted to fall asleep, then he got angry again, but the towel seemed to calm him down. I got so into it I thought oh she's going to give him a wash at the end instead so was looking forward to it then it didn't happen. He's gorgeous by the way!

Ótima profissional de tosa. A gatinha estressada fez lembrar meu sialata, ele é rabugento mas nunca me mordeu...já arranhou tentando fugir, mas é muito mansinho. Quem entende gato entende. Quem não conhece julga como mau, chato e acabam odiando os felinos, mas só quem tem uma bola de pelos dessa que sabe o quanto são amorosos. A que mais aprecio é a minha tricolorzinha, gorducha, brincalhona, carinhosa e inteligente. Meus momentos mais felizes é quando deito no sofá pra assisti uma série e ela fica rechonchuda do meu lado, com o corpo macio e quentinho. Gatos são puro amor.

As Grace said, it was very matted fur. Usually a hard clip is to allow proper growth back so it becomes luscious again, matting is kinda the thing you can't undo with simply a shampoo. The only way to deal with them is cut em out, and allow for regrowth that can be taken care of. (I have a LOT of experience with getting out my now-passed furbub's matting, cause she was geriatric and sometimes too poorly to groom)
