Pile 1 and yes going through a divorce that’s dragging out (1 year so far) and we still live together. There is no chance at all of us getting back together and he knows it and he’s not interested either. I stopped loving him long ago. He is trying to drag it out because he doesn’t want to lose half his money and half the time with his kids and I don’t want to lose half the time with my kids either and my financial stability. I’m trying to get a job and get my life together so we can finish this divorce up. There is no childhood person or any other options for me in love. I don’t know anyone. Pile #3. I am deeply triggered by my family and some of my mother's close friends. I've thrown myself into an unhealthy work acholic distraction, where work is my release and home life, and social life is suffering. There's so much. Pile 1: Oh my goodness did this resonate! My ex 🤞🙏 if he ever agrees to distribution of marital assets after 15 years of marriage- the last 5 have been pure hell! He literally became so manipulative, vindictive, nasty, demeaning, and even de-humanizing. He denied me heat, AC, Wifi and tv for the last 5 years. He would regularly tell me that I was so stupid and he didn’t believe I was actually college educated (I hold 2 grad degrees with a 3.8 gpa). I must have slept my way through college he said. I owned my own 3 bedroom ranch before we got married and he kept saying he never saw evidence of that and that I was making that up. This was because he truly thought I was going to walk away empty handed after 15 years and acted like I was nothing before I met him. I am still stuck in this marriage but fortunately he moved out of the marital home 5 months ago but still won’t give me a divorce. Lawyers are so expensive so I can’t afford to protect my rights at this time, but I am standing my ground and have refused to sign 5 different separation agreements that deny me my right to equal distribution of assets. I’m hoping that he’s coming around but I won’t believe that until I’m driving around in my “Just Divorced” truck decorated like hell. He needs a warning label. 😂

If you are married you have equal rights to the marital assets including money. Go see a lawyer about getting that money split up right away so you can afford the lawyer. There is a way to do that legally.

@@duchessdelarue5983 Thank you! I do know this as I’ve done a lot reading and research on this. This bigger problem though, is that no matter what the law says or is, a lawyer is required to get what is rightfully mine. In this area lawyers charge close to $400 an hour - which seems absolutely absurd! One of their hours equals 4 whole days of pay for me. The legal system in the US is a racket- as are many other things. As with everything else here, I earn too much to receive any legal assistance, rent assistance, or any assistance but no where near enough to pay what is being charged without assistance. There’s always this significant gap between what the government and the wealthy believe to be attainable and what is actually attainable. So, for now, I just stand in my power with the hope that he, who is in very dark energy, will get tired remaining stuck in his own life just to keep me stuck in mine as some sort of get even. He was the alcoholic cheater and abuser but for some reason seems good with punishing me.
