When this song first came out it was a pipe dream. I remember thinking then that it would take a true miracle, but I never thought for a second that it would/could get so much worse. We're so far past pipe dream now that it's getting hard to remember how good life really was in the 70s and 80s.

This song came out when I graduated high school I’m 1983. I had no idea, at that time, how my life would turn out! I’m so thankful, to the Good Lord in Heaven, for His love 💕 for me, and the family I was so Blessed to be given. We talked about this song and how in every life time there are times that come along which touch us. Little did we, either of us, know what laid ahead. i have always loved Anne Murray. i sing this at karaoke night n honor of staff sergeant Amy Krueger from Wisconsin here who was killed in the fort Hood tragedy. when she chose to serve as well as firefighters or police, she knew anything could've occurred. she was a brave , and her life was sacrificed... too young she was, but willing to die for us.
