I grew up on Anne's music. She's like that warm smell after the summer rain you long for all your life. It's familair and cozy. She and John Denver were my absolute favorites. Later in life Jann Ardedn came along. Turned my world around. Such a beautiful voice of an angel, and ethereal beauty. And so many thought provoking lyrics! I just adored her. I can listen to her and then everything from my twenties comes rushing back. (I'm in the 40's group now...) But when I saw these two were performing together? NUTS. Great vs Great. Nobody loses, but everyone wins!! THANKS God for your meddling hand in bringing these two masterpieces on stage together for my listening pleasure! I love the lyric to this song!!! It's haunting. It's a great song to sing along to. Jann's voice is perfectly suited for this song. There is so much emotions in her voice, it just feel like it hit you in the gut. It's a song that I never get tired of listening to over and over again. I was 23 years old when this song first came out in 1996. It brought back a lot of memories.

And notified my son her dad what is her picture doing on u tube I am told that her brother and her were making puppet videos ,and making them outside Again When I noticed these adorable children jumping off swings on a slide etc they were in my back yard and were my precious grandchildren . In 1969 I had just arrived back in the states from overseas. We had arrived at the Naval Station in Bremerton WA. I had 30 days leave, and had bought an old red and white 1959 Corvette. It had an eight track player attached under the dash, and I bought two eight track tapes. Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Deja Vu, and Anne Murray Snow Bird. Those two tapes carried me and that old Corvette from Bremerton to Chicago for my leave, and back to the west coast for my next duty station at NAS Alameda CA. I have been an Anne Murray fan ever since. She is a very special woman.
