ہر چند سہارا ہے ، تیرے پیار کا دل کو رہتا ہے مگر ، ایک عجب خوف سا دل کو وہ خواب کہ دیکھا نہ کبھی ، لے اڑا نیندیں وہ درد کہ اٹھا نہ کبھی ، کھا گیا دل کو یاں سانس کا لینا بھی ، گذر جانا ہے جی سے یاں معرکہِ عشق بھی ، اک کھیل تھا دل کو وہ آئیں تو حیراں ، وہ جائیں تو پریشاں یارب کوئی سمجھائے ، یہ کیا ہوگیا دل کو سونے نہ دیا شورش ہستی نے گھڑی بھر میں لاکھ تیرا ذکر سناتا رہا دل کو روداد محبت نہ رہی اس کے سوا یاد اک اجنبی آیا تھا اڑا لے گیا دل کو جز گرد خموشی نہیں شہرت یہاں کچھ بھی کس منزل آباد میں پہنچا لیا دل کو شہرت بخاری
