I have PTSD, and this song is indescribable to me, it resonates like nothing else can. The lines "Cause night smells different / When the day comes close / Reaches out for my hand / But I can’t leave the night" describe perfectly what it feels wanting to have a normal life and loving close relationships, but being unable to because you feel disconnected to everyone and everything - even though your loved ones try to reach out to you offering their helping hands, you can't reach them because when you try to if feels like you're being pulled down into the darkness. Those lines bring me to tears every time. Thank you for making such amazing and relatable music, and giving me a way to feel less alone on this journey. Cheers!

Wannsinn. An diesem Song kann ich mich nicht satthören/sehen! Was die Band hier an Melodien bietet, ist nicht von dieser Welt. Unglaublich. Habe selten so etwas geiles gehört. Krimh ist für mich das Maß der Dinge. Unglaubliches, tightes Schlagzeug! Sind wir mal ehrlich: Angekommen in der Endzeit, sind es solche Bands wie Harakiri For The Sky oder Ellende, die Zeugnis einer nie zuvor dagewesene Magie einer musikalischen Weiterentwicklung in die Zukunft transprtiert haben! The music is all written by Matthias and all the instruments are played by him in the studio (the same exact thing Billy Corgan did with Smashing Pumpkins), which is why it sounds so air-tight and perfect. Plus their guitar tone is fucking sicccck 🤘
