Back in 2019 I had the honor to record session drums for the new album "MÆRE" of Austrian Metal Band Harakiri For The Sky. The footage was taken during the recording session at Sweat Records Studios in Vienna Austria.

Love it! One question I have is, that second set of high hats you're using, are you treating them more as a stack? I don't see a pedal for them, so I assume you have them at a fixed tension.

Yes you are right, I am using them always in an open position. During long sections a switch to the second hi-hat can make it more interesting sounding. Also I don’t always need to cross over my hands and can play the snare louder.
