Amazing video however I feel sad that a lot of depictions of people living with schizophrenia end in some kind of uncontrolled violent action, i just dont feel it helps some of the stigma surrounding their condition. What are your thoughts?

@@CDUKTV_YT It's a whole another world where you cannot change or rule anything. You just go with the flow of current events or situations and your reaction/actions change based on the current mood/personality you feel. Really hard to describe but anytime I talk about it with someone, they just can't imagine the way I perceive everything around me. It's a surreal world of mine out of time, like if everything was seen through a thick, cloudy glass. A world that changes according to your state of mind.

Didn't hook me on at first, but repeated listens brought me into this dreamy, hazy melancholy. As if you would absently sing this if you are feeling lost somewhere without a reason in this world. This mad, mad world... Wonderful re-cover of this song HFTS. While the rage-filled version was great, it's honestly a lot more impressive to see you guys are capable to craft different interpretations of a song, that gives a different emotional response while retaining its core message. Putting this re-cover on constant rotation. 🤘

Sometimes I feel like actually I don't exist. I don't like to look in a mirror because it prompts me to think that "Once upon a time, the person in the mirror was too young, innocent and untroubled as against now". This cover is cool. It's more broadly appealing. That being said, the original cover was super cool and unique. I just hope this cover brings more recognition to the first one. Actually, I'd love for both versions to be on the phsyical releases.

There's various versions. The original was by Tears For Fears. Then Gary Jules did it on the sound track for Donnie Darko. Now Harakiri For The Sky. I like all in different ways though. EDIT. Read your comment wrong. You mentioned the Gary Jules one was a cover. My bad.

@@ExtremeMetalLIVEThat wasn't the point with all their other covers... up to now. I'll go as far as saying that whatever this is sounds like another band. This song pales in comparison with Maere, let alone their earlier stuff. The reworks of Harakiri for the Sky and Aokigahara will fall short of the perfection that the originals were. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

This is very different to the version of Mad World on the original Aokigahara which was much more black metal oriented with the vocals all screamed. I like both in their own way but the black metal fan in me prefers the 2014 version.
