■ By clicking 'Like' 👍🏻 on this video you help me out massively with reaching both current subscribers and new viewers. When I haven't uploaded regularly in a while this is ULTRA IMPORTANTE to break back through into the algorithm. People get recommended videos from channels they've recently watched. Since there hasn't been anything on my channel all year it is hence recommended much less than before, even to my own subscribers, until more of you have been on the channel for these new vids. Likes and engagement is the best way to break back into people's suggested/browse sections. ■ NEW INSTAGRAM: instagram.com/TheNorthmanReturns

Mole con pollo is one of the famous traditional dishes of oaxaca. Its a thick dark spicy sauce served on chicken with rice and beans. The flavor is very complex, so its hard to describe but you definatly have to try it! Also tlyuda is another traditional dish that you should try in my opinion. I think I can speak for everybody when I say we sre really happy to have you back harald. 😊

Harold, I missed your videos, great to see you are here again. Oaxaca is a great town; I remember the great hotel there on the main square with a view of all the action in the city center square. not far from the city there is a nude beach on the Pacific coast, Mexico's Nudist Beach Zipolite Oaxaca is the only (public) legal nude beach in Mexico!

Around 5 minutes in you wonder if the camera pointing away is good idea. Sometimes full perspective of what you are seeing is fantastic. Great way to see the environment you are in. Nice job

I agree... it's better but... an entire vlog filmed that way does not hold the attention of the audience past much more than a minute or two. Having said that I should film point of view mode far more than I currently do. Trying my best and sometimes only realize after the fact

@@HaraldBaldr I'm an autist and can get a little annoyed when I constantly see a face on the screen. In your videos that never happened. Maybe it's because you already found the right balance in the past. With the viewing angle and camera distance there's typically enough visual information about your environment anyway. But it doesn't hurt to try a little more pov shots.

I haven't been to Oaxaca since 1989. I loved it there, a beautiful town. It really doesn't look like it's changed to much except the prices of course. Still a lot of VW's around. We rented one and drove to Puerto Angle on the Pacific Coast, not to far from Oaxaca. A beautiful little sleepy fishing port,(well it was back then anyway). Thanks for your videos Harold and keep on traveling while you can.
