As far as I remember, Dr Zakir Naik in one of his speeches, said that there is no sura or Ayha in the Qur'an that forbids dancing. but he pointed out that Islamic schools unanimously agree that it would be inappropriate for men to dance with another women wich are not their wives, and that it should not be done in public and also in front of other men who are in the middle of the party. Because in a couple the biggest attraction will be the woman. Then, if they are going to dance, let them dance inside of the house.

It allows Musical Instruments, Don't be fooled by a possibly-fabricated Ahadith mentioning about it's prohibition. Nowhere in the Quran mentions about it's direct prohibition so we have no rights to tell what is permissible & what is forbidden except Allah. The Prophet ﷺ says that all of his words & rulings came from Allah but in a certain Ahadith where he talks about the prohibition of Musical Instruments, If he really said that, Can you give me a Quranic reference? The Prophet ﷺ is not the kind of man to just make his own rules unless it was from Allah so beware.

I feel like a lot of the practices of Islam are the major reasons why Islam’s influence over the world dwindles and dwarves compared to Judaism/Zionist state…also I have noticed contradictions in some Islamic practices as well which make it difficult to fully convert in my humble opinion…two examples of these contradictions would be circumsizing and marrying of first cousins where an estimated 20-30% of all Muslims are married to their first cousin…I feel circumsizing is very much against God’s design and unnatural in those terms…and well we don’t have to get into Muslims marrying their cousins with the chance at potential off spring…Allah knows best but apparently he doesn’t know you shouldn’t have kids with your first cousin because the off spring have high chances of coming out…well you get the point
