Did a background check? You gave him your license? Were you in violation of the law? Without a violation, he has not cause. Without cause, you have no legal obligation to present your paperwork. This is not Nazi Germany, and that cops is not the Gestapo.

It is not illegal if you consent, if you would have said no and he demanded it ,then it would be unconstitutional....unless you are commiting a crime..

I didn’t care since my record is clean. except it took forever and I was watching him like a hawk to make sure he didn’t try to plant anything in the truck. I should’ve hid a camera somewhere to film our interaction.

Make as much money as you can while you're young, it only gets harder as you get older, physically and mentally. Work and make videos, and try to set a little, even a tiny bit, aside in an investment, it adds up over time and I promise you will be glad you did when you are older.
