Finally saved up to purchase my 2nd one. 1st one purchased over years now. I have two 18' turbo sound subs and messed around and used another brand 12' with the 4112 for a crowd of over 100 and what a world of difference. I also run it with the evolve50 liner rays. The sound is very rich and loud at the same time...amazing unit.

You're 100% correct. That's why I replaced QSC K series with this brand. Why? It is cheap and more powerful. They actually work for a live band. I run 8 4115 speakers and 4 Yorkville 808p subwoofers 😅. Enough for 750 people easily. Super loud and clear because of 35-22k. At first, I didn't believe their specs until I used it for live gigs lol. I don't know how durable they are, but still cheaper to fix or even to buy a new one. With QSC, you would spend at least $450 for an amp replacement. Think about it!

Do these have any sort of feedback cancellation? Would love to see a bit of reverb and other performer-friendly features in the dsp. Otherwise, amazing features for the price.

I have both. The 4112 is a little louder, but that's to be expected. Everything else is about the same, and the 3412 has a few newer features.

I have a V2215 and a V2315 that I use with a V2318, they sound good, I have used them for up to 7 hours with no problems, I am thinking of upgrading my equipment for a pair of 12” and 15” subs. The ones that caught my attention were the JBL IRX, but seeing this comparison I prefer to continue with Harbinger, V4112 will be my option.. thanks for your videos

Which one is better... vari 3415 or vari 4112? They are both on sale for $359. This will be used for small gatherings of around 50-80 people.

Hey...VERY informative, concise info, thank you. 38 yr full time DJ and always considered Harbinger entry level. Actually did an A/B test at Guitar center yesterday against JBL, QSC (which I own), Mackie...and these (the 15s) sounded the best! Just a bit nervous on power for 150 person events.

what mackie did you A/B with? I'm looking at the Mackie Thump 212 (currently $315) but curious about the Vari4112 ($374) for a bar band

How do they compare with Alto ts4? ( For electric drums and piano)
@GreatRateDJs Жыл бұрын
I've had the Alto TS4. At the first gig, one Alto died. No way the Alto has the 2500-watt volume it claims to have. I returned the Alto's for the Harbinger Vari 4000 15" and have been blown away. Sounds amazing and has so many features. Been using them for about a year and they've been money.

Looking to get 4 of these for about 150-175 people max.... Should I get the 12 or opt for 15? Fours 12s and subwoofer or just four 15s? Its for a new church.

sub is a MUST!

When it comes to larger crows what you need to focus is subwoofers not tops speaker. The tops speakers all u do is reaise them up to cover further area and u can just put a small 10 to fill the center ,but as ur main concer is bass and coverage. U need more than one def if ur playing outside. Unless is a backyard party with walls close by u will be fine with just one but as far open land no walls and over 50 people u need 2 and 4 depending on the size and quality of ur subs

It's usually about 1/2 peak. So for the Vari 4000 series, approx 1,250 rms.

@oddioj13502 жыл бұрын
As I've always understood it, the Harbinger brand is exclusively sold thru guitar center only, I believe it's their own speaker brand I think. I've never seen the brand sold outside of guitar center exception I think musicians friend sells them used.

@@TL-wu4id still on the heavier side when compared to other 12" speaker's. Don't get me wrong their great. Just heavy. When trying to take them off the stand they tend to clamp on to the pole even with the holding screw undone. I end up lifting the whole pole with the speaker.
