It was this video that made me go out and buy a bunch of harbor freight ammo cans, and I couldn’t be happier. Till this day I haven’t seen a more extreme torture test on an ammo can yet, Thanks brotha😎👍🏽

That’s really great torture test brother! I bought 30 of these cans and now I’m assured that it will last.

I had no idea HF sold these. I appreciate you showing this and sacrificing your own so we don't have to lol. Now I can stop using a one gallon paint can to hold my Parks 50 for "safe" (non-plastic bucket) quenching and storing and go grab one of these bad boys. I can finally be confident when quenching knowing I have enough volume in there for sufficient heat dispersion. 😎👍. Thanks man! 😉

Bought 2 from harbor freight, after going to 2 military surplus stores and both wanted over $20. Rusted, dirty, beat up junk. I laughed and walked out of both stores. They will be holding on those for awhile. Harbor freight cans are almost exactly the same. I will buy more from harbor freight..

I'll add a final note to the tests. They are steel, not aluminum. I bought a few from HF and tested with a magnet. Sticks. Just like the authentic one I have beside them.

I just bought one, but from Walmart, for $13. I can guarantee you it is made by the very same company that makes those $16 ammo cans for Harbor Freight. I was about to go return it because I didn't think it'd be as good as the authentic one from the military. But after seeing your video, I think I'll just keep it.

Need to water test again after beating it up. Okay. I see that you gave it a 2nd test.

Yes, but how does it hold up when full of ammo in a blazing fire? I'm presuming it will contain the majority of the rounds as they cook off, and any that somehow escaped because the lid popped up would be very low velocity.

That was going to be Bubba's next video, but he unfortunately was unable to get it completed before he blew off his leg by filling an old riding mower with Tannerite and shooting it from about 35 feet! That made an interesting video as well... In it you can hear him exclaim... "I blowed off my leg!" I think I will pick some of these up myself, they look to be good cans and I don't care where they are being put together,

It definitely will. I've also seen people put tools, flashlights, and a little kit in case of emergencies and leave them in their cars. Its great to protect whatever you need stored away.

i purchased one of these to put some valuables in, If it gets caught in a fire should i be worried about popping open the lid because of built up pressure?
@SharpWorks6 жыл бұрын
I think it would be fine and withstand the pressure but I didn’t want to risk losing an arm by doing something stupid 😆
@paulfalcone15916 жыл бұрын
Lol I meant after it survived the fire should I be worried about retrieving my valuables
@SharpWorks6 жыл бұрын
Paul Falcone lol ohhh! I would say after it’s cooled down you can handle it. The pressure will go away when it gets back to room temperature, but I’m sure it’ll cook whatever is inside. Depends how bad the fire is I’d say. If its burning for over 10 minutes in intense heat, I’m sure any perishable (like paper money, documents, etc.) would turn to charcoal.

How are they better and have a "cheaper" price? Cheap means low quality. Inexpensive is the correct term.

Walmart sells one also made in china and its only $12.83
@victorramosjr22397 ай бұрын
I just bought one as well from my local Walmart for a bit over $13 and I can almost guarantee you that the very same company that made those cans for Walmart is the exact same Chinese company that made the cans for Harbor Freight. I was thinking about returning it & getting my $ back & looking for an authentic one. But after seeing this video, I think I'll just keep it. As a matter of fact, I just might buy a few more. My local Walmart has like 8 to 10 more of these behind a locked glass cabinet, which surprises me.
