21:48 If the 3 ton Rapid Pump jack is specified with max height of 19-7/8 in. and the 2 ton has a max height of 16-7/8 in. how could you possibly understand that to mean, "the 2 ton goes slightly higher?" The height is actually listed on the very ad coupon that you're quoting from.

The 3 ton goes 3/8" lower, too, so the whole statement about the 2 ton going lower and lifting higher is just off the mark. By what's printed in this ad here there is zero reason to buy the 2 ton.

I’m an exterminator and I only buy them when they’re $4.99. I buy them by the 10 box case. Customers in the checkout line often ask me why I need so many and I tell them that I’m a proctologist and don’t like re-using the gloves by turning the gloves inside out between customers…. 😱 During 2020 I was paying $18 a box, plus shipping from UniSafe Gloves and was darn lucky to even find them in stock. Needless to say I’ve easily got 50 boxes (5 cases) in my reserve in case there is another “2020” again…. 🤕

I took it, filled it with fuel and she started right up! But my favorite find was not one but two Daytona 3 ton floor jacks in a dumpster. Guess who's dumpster I found it in? Well harbor freight's dumpster by golly! They both work like a champ too. Oh and then there was the time I found the 301 piece mechanic tool set, almost all of it was there minus a couple screwdrivers and just one socket. Once again, in harbor freight's dumpster! I like the Chicago Electric 10 inch sliding miter saw. I’m just a DIYer but in the last 2 months I replaced all my deck boards, deck steps, trimmed out 2 rooms in my house and added 4 X 8 sheets of OSB (with a bunch of 2 X 4 support beams, cut with the miter saw) to my attic. All with the CE saw and a Bauer general purpose blade and a Bauer finishing blade. No issues. Strong 15 amp motor, same as all the other 10 and 12 inch saws out there. I pair it with a 50 foot, 14 gauge cord to make sure I get all I can get from the power plant. I like it, especially for the price.
@matthewpeters855 ай бұрын
14 gauge cord isn’t really enough over a 50’ length. 25’ would probably be ok. On a 50’ cord, you should probably have a 12 gauge cord.

@@matthewpeters85It's a 50 footer, perfect length to run out to my driveway for cutting long pieces. It's rated at 15 amps, according to the package. I also did an amp check on it, it was producing almost the full 15 amps according to my clamp style multimeter and line splitter.
@matthewpeters855 ай бұрын
@@donnie017 you’re right, it’s adequate. But just barely. For a saw that runs for just a couple seconds at a time, you’ll probably never have a problem. Hell, we all know that one guy that runs his whole garage off 1- 100ft 16g extension cord from his 1920’s knob and tube wired house that has 2 fuses that power the whole thing, and under the fuses sit 2 1970’s penny’s because fuses are too expensive and hard to find. The garage also used to be wired the same way before the fire, hense the extension cord. He did bury the extension cord though, for safety, and when I say bury, I mean he flopped it in the rut he left with his truck when he got stuck in the yard last spring and then filled the rut over the summer with ashes from his bonfire pit and charcoal grill. He’s still alive….atleast on the outside🤷🏻♂️. You’ll probably be fine. I mean, that’s what you have homeowners insurance for🤷🏻♂️. None of this makes my original comment untrue. A 15amp rated cord is technically adequate but not really sufficient. If you hang a swing in the tree in the yard for your kid, do you use rope that is rated for exactly what your kid weighs? Technically it will be ok aslong as no variables change. How long does something last when used at it’s max rating vs 50-60%. The standard tires on your auto have a load rating atleast double what your auto weighs. You want to sleep on the bottom bunk of a bunk bed rated for exactly what the guy on the top bunk weighs? That’s what health insurance is for 🤷🏻♂️. …….wait a minute……..why am I bothering? You bought the Chicago electric miter saw on purpose…….of course you bought a 14g 50’ extension cord to go with it. It’s fine…..it’s fine….. we’ve pretty much all been there at one time in our lives. Adequate is………adequate….. Oh wait, I just re-read your original comment, you bought the 14g 50’ for “performance”! Instead of what? Are you the guy with his whole garage running off a 100’ 16g extension cord?😬 It’s ok if you are, I won’t tell 🤫if it’s supposed to be a secret! A couple of my friends really are the same way. They throw the best parties! I just gotta keep my eye on them when they come over, I can’t afford insurance premiums as high and with as many exclusions as theirs.

25:43 I disagree with the bear on the folding hex key sets. There is a time and place for them, and they are particularly useful for service plumbers who have to repair small appliances, any service worker that has to carry tools around, and any time that you might want to attach a set of keys to a tool, the folding sets are best. You do have to take them apart and get all the cardboard out and it helps to lubricate them lightly before re-securing the retaining bolts.

I have the Herc 12" sliding miter saw, and have used it for a variety of woodworking projects over 8months, and it's never let me down. It definitely has a large footprint, but it'll probably be the one and only miter saw you buy! Unless you really want the space savings of the Bosch, Festool, Makita, or Ridgid miter saws. I have not seen the need to change the blade it came with, and it's done well cutting wood, laminates, etc with minimal tearout at multiple different angles.

The scoundrels. My ITC expires around July 25th, and they had to put this sale in August. So much for my plan to not renew until Dec/Jan after stocking up in July and just relying upon Amazon's Nov/Dec sales to get me into 2025. I recently got the 1 gallon Fortress ultra quiet compressor and love it. I originally had the red pancake for $40, OK but super noisy. Then I grabbed a McGraw blue hotdog return for half off the $38 orange sticker. Yep, $19 for a better compressor than the red pancake. But they're both going to be put out at a yard sale now. I won't even give them to my kids, I don't want them or a grandkid to end up getting ringing ears in their old age from unnecessarily loud compressor noise. Fortress compressors all around, if any of them end up wanting a compressor.

Buy lots of Harbor Freight tools but they are a bit bait and switch on the sales, maybe it's just mine.. the really good deals they never have in stock during sales and there are no rain checks. I had tried to get the Predator 5000 gen almost every time it's been on sale for about 4 years. Never in stock, but I can go back a few weeks later and they are in stock. in the last year I been trying to get a toolbox on sale, i will admit I want a specific color, been on sale 3 times, and is never in stock, but it's always there a week or two later at a normal price. Thankfully they have plenty of stuff at the normal prices I use,

If they don’t have a toolbox in the color you want you can still pay for it at the sale price and they’ll call you once it comes in.

if you want that cart you need to buy black, gray, or maybe blue. The common colors. Recently, I mean its been a week now, a new kid ordered a purple one. It took a five weeks for him to finally get it. why? how many of the other colors did they really make and do they know where they are? If you just need that thing in a whatever color for whatever reason just paint that thing yourself.

Idk about everyone else, but I am tired of all these bullshit sales. It feels pretty scammy. How about just having decent everyday prices and maybe have ONE or TWO promotions throughout the year. They know what they need to bring in every month for earnings. Price things accordingly.
