No, at 2:10 you say the "double edge cutter" is for splitting nuts, but that's not what it's for. It is for cutting sheet metal. You plunge cut in with either edge of the chisel, and the "shelf" formed by the taller part in the center provides a stop that rides against the surface of the sheet metal. The curved face of the chisel (on either side of the center) will then make a beautiful curl of metal with very little effort required by the user thanks to the guide surface, unlike a regular straight chisel.

Thanks for that clarification because the packaging said it was a non bolt cutter but that makes a lot more sense what you said I also bet that using that The cut sheet metal would be jet engine loud

You are exactly right. No way is that a nut splitter. It's perfect for cutting sheet metal and designed to do so, same as another chisel.

I know it’s years later but, I was told by my matco guy that the flat hammer was the only one that they won’t replace under warranty as they break so easily that they can’t replace them. That’s probably why they are different.

I do like that they add the hammer.. I just used my Ingersoll Rand long barrel for about 2 hours yesterday trying to loosen up a rotor.....

Any update on these? I’m curious myself how they worked out and would have pulled the trigger on them, but they only have a 90 day warranty. At my job, these chisels get worn out. I went through a few cheap ones and have been debating replacing them with SnapOn or Mac so I can have warranty (on the ones I break often).

I have a cheap air hammer that took forever to dismantle a rear suspension. I am interested to find out if this one is better. Looking forward to your review.

That chief long barrel air hammer will outperform the cheaper central pneumatic medium barrel air hammer by far (I have both). It does hit a lot harder. I have it and although I can't yet say if it lasts a long time it certainly does perform pretty well.

I call these "tools of destruction". The finish appears nice. Interested to see how they hold up. I don't have an air hammer, only 4 rivet guns which take the same .401" shank tools. A rivet gun has a much more controllable throttle and action than an air hammer.

The air hammer shares a lot of components with Mac tools. The triggers are completely different but the hammer part is pretty much a copy.

Inside track club is a waste of money. You can google the itc club coupons for free off Google....screen shot them n used them at check out. Most cashiers dont check to see if u are a member or not. Hell i even had a cashier 1 time give me coupons on stuff i bought i didn't have coupons for
