On topic but off topic on Harbor Freight. I bought two of their L.E.D. battery powered rechargable lights last year when I was working on my truck. They both lost the operation of the charging ability and I wound up purchasing batteries and a charger for the lights off Amazon. The batteries that came with the lights still charge, the charger portion of the lights.

The Tekton flex ratchet doesnt flex in the same way as that Pittsburgh dual flex ratchet. I use that Pittsburgh dual flex to replace oil pressure sensors in GM V8 engines where the sensor is on top of the engine at the very back of the engine. (Basically below the wipers) That ratchet makes it a super easy job.
@EfficientRVer11 ай бұрын
I used my Pittsburgh installing a receiver hitch, where one bolt was in a tricky spot with a bumper assembly beam in the way. With this in a zigzag shape, just zip zip zip back and forth to ratchet it. Couldn't get at it with a regular ratchet, nor a ratcheting box wrench, without removing the beam. Saved a lot of time and a knuckle or two. And it's perfectly usable as a regular ratchet when straight.

The major saw manufacturers have been bribing every politician they can to stop it then suddenly when saw stops core patents are about to expire the government is ready to push this through? These companies have been working on these saws for over 10 years, they already have them ready to go they've already costed everything out I think for them this is just a way to raise prices.

@Ferrous_Bueller10 ай бұрын
@@denoftools I did, but that doesn’t explain how you think taxation is theft.
@denoftools10 ай бұрын
@@Ferrous_Bueller Well did you skip the part where we did not use to have an income tax? Or read the writings of many of our founding fathers who opposed such taxes? Or have you ever read about other forms of financing civil enhancements? There are other methodologies for getting stuff done besides extoring money by force and make no mistake, at the end of the day Government is Force. The issue with taxation is that there is little to no oversight on what the money is actually spent on or who ends up receiving it. I'm 55 and I can remember when I was growing up, politicians and the news essentially made fun of the USSR and other 2nd and 3rd world nations. They told us that corruption was everywhere over that but not here in the US! LOL, but I grew up and learned that truth and that is that corruption is rampant everywhere and especially in the US. I ran for BART board in San Francisco. BART is one of the mass transit rail systems there. I got to see exactly what happens to our tax dollars when a single platform ballooned in spending 5x! Politicains use any excuse to tax the populace and then they funnel it straight to their friends bank accounts with a little bit off the top for them of course. Fun fact fudal warlords in Afghanistan certainly DO tax their populace.
@Ferrous_Bueller10 ай бұрын
@@denoftools You make a lot of valid points, but you make them in the same way that communists and socialists make valid points. Take this statement for example, “other methodologies for getting stuff done besides extorting money by force”, please elaborate on a system that you think would work, and I’ll provide the reasons why it won’t. Mainly, a large majority of human beings won’t contribute to the collective without being forced too, because everyone thinks that everyone else should pay. The reason the United States changed the world’s collective prosperity level is because it stumbled into an imperfect system that works. Sure, corruption exists, but corruption exists and will exist in any system you could ever think of, because human’s are inherently evil without being forced. I know Afghanistan warlords tax their subjugated populace, I spent 2 years there. My point in bringing up Afghanistan is because it’s a country for the most part that didn’t rely on a strong hand government where only the strongest rose to the top. People are paying no matter what; whether it’s taxes to an imperfect system that is still the best one on earth that has an extremely high quality of life, or to a system that funnels money into the most violent with an absolute crap quality of life.
@denoftools10 ай бұрын
@Ferrous_Bueller I can provide half a dozen concepts on what could work but you'll just shoot them down with unproven hypotheticals in the same way antigunners say stuff about "common sense". Unless you can prove it won't work then it's just as valid as saying it will and I have proof it will work in that is how it was previously done. Our taxation system isn't unique and it isnt' intrinsically capitalist or American for that matter. Also it isn't imperfect it's been gamed from day one. It's a rigged system that dispriportiantly targets the middle class, the very engine of our economy. You keep acting like taxes are neccisary and we have to just accept them while continue to ignore that fact that it does not have to be that way and in fact was not in this very country. The Libritarians propose an interesting concept where there are no taxes and the top 1% of wealth holders pay for these civic services as part of their "Civic Duty". They are not forced to but they will find it's hard to stay rich when you workers can't drive on good roads to work or use basic utilities. We don't need to use the inherent violence of government to provide these services. Read up on the concept of Volentary Taxation.
