Been using the same lift for 8 years now. Made same modification you did to it years back. I've had no issues with it at all. Also doubles as a nice work bench when not in use!! 2011 HD Ultra Limited

I bought a Handy lift (US made) in 2007. It has given me years of service without any issues. They are worth every penny . I don't worry about running my 2018 Bagger up on it and leaving it up on the lift at full height for any length of time. The money I have saved in tire and oil changes and basic maintenance , servicing 4 motorcycles, I believe it has more than paid for itself. Would a Harbour Freight lift made in China last this long and remain trouble free?.. The old saying "You get what you pay for" in my experience is true.

That’s what I just told them. The cost of that handy lift is about the same as an exhaust or a cam job. Nobody minds spending the money on that. I’m not dropping a 1000lbs. 30k bike from 3’ in the air to save money.

I have used my HF lit for eight years. I also bought the HF wheel chock. It was hard to yank my bike back out of the chock. I then used the Condor off my bike trailer. Then I got tired moving the Condor back and forth between the lift and trailer. Believe it or not I now use the original chock that came with the lift. It held up under both of my Victory tourers. Now it holds my BMW and Suzuki 650 for maintenance duties.

I bolted the same chuck on my HF Lift, however I put the bar back on it, overhung the chock a few inches and used the bar to mount self retracting ratchets... WAY more stable, my goldwing fits perfect

If you're handy with woodworking, I'd recommend building some footing extensions around the front-half of the lift. When you ride up on the lift, you may find where you would typically put your foot down to stabilize the bike is now "space." Great review!!!

I bought one, it works okay but the wheel chock sucks and it's too narrow for me to load it alone. I ended replacing the wheel chock and built some additional side panels that I bolted to the table to make it easier to ride the bike on lift alone. Still cheaper than paying $1K for some of the others. I would like it to be air activated but I may replace the bottle jack with an airlift set up at some point.

that is the exact same chock oi put on mine works great, i added 2x6 on each side for foot rest/ also to make it wide enough for mowers and golf cart, i added more tiedowns as well and a set of 6in casters to the very front of the top deck so it doesnt tilt forward when loading.

I have two of the Central Pneumatics motorcycle lift table from Harbor Freight, (the predecessor to the Pittsburgh) one came with the air/ hydraulic jack. After about 12 years of frequent use, the pneumatic pump gave out and I manually pumped it up for about a year. I eventually converted it to a hydraulic cylinder powered by an electric pump. It was a good lift. Now it's a great lift. This is definitely on my to do list for my shop. I've had better luck with Harbor Freight tools than box chain hardware store tools and the lifetime warranty on them seems to work. Not to mention Harbor Freight is owned privately and not a hedge fund franchise set to a NAU/global agenda like Tractor Supply Co. Add a floating RAM cup holder and you're set.

I purchased this Harbor freight lift back in 2005 and still use it constantly. Paid $250 for it back then, definitely got my moneys worth out of it. It will lift up to about 1100 pounds (RZR800S), it will not lift my YXZ1000 which weighs almost 1500. Its a decent product.

I have an old electric motor Handy I got free when a local dealership moved. It's worked for over 30yrs. I bought a HF lift as a second to keep projects on. I added a wheel chock front, but the removeable rear plate helps immensely for rear wheel/tire changes. Now the Handy hold the long term projects. BTW; always use tie-down on the front. Cheap insurance!

I think you're going to find the wheel chock is too wide. Get some 1"x6" and cut it into lengths that fit between the front and rear brakes so you can tighten up things by putting a piece between the sidewalls and the bottom channel. Makes a bike with a skinny front tire a lot more stable than it wobbling around in a chock twice as wide as the tire. Love mine after doing that

If you use your lift table on a regular basis, you're going to get really tired of the foot pump. Redline makes an air over hydraulic pump that appears to be a direct bolt-on replacement.

That lift is junk. Every time I would pump the lever my bike would lean further towards the right. You couldn’t take your hands off the bike in fear it would fall over. Then no matter how easy you would try to let it down it would slam down. I can easily justify spending more when I’m putting a 30k Harley on a lift. A good lift can be bought for about the same price as a exhaust system. We to have no problem with that purchase.
