I have the same lift. To keep it from sliding I use door stops under the 2 bigger wheels. Works great and they are cheap.

Great lift !!! I lifted the front of the lift by cranking the adjustable feet that solved the sliding issue when first driving onto lift!!

They are a great lift, if you want a lift buy this one. Me and my friends moved the tie down loops forward, it keeps straps out of the way and holds bike to the wheel stop.

Just picked one up today I bought that $40 wheel chock but I put the stock one on so I didn't have to drill the table out but it scratched my rim so I'm definitely going to put the new chock on tomorrow

I used 3/4 plywood boards 10” wide the length of the lift on both sides with supports bolted to the main deck of the lift from underneath this gives you more foot space and you can also put quads and lawn tractors on lift

OK guys, a couple of points. Best practice is to push the bike on the lift. If you ride up, wear a helmet, it's a long way down to the pavement for your head, and devise some outriggers, wood or plate steel, you need more purchase for your feet. Also, for lift sliding think about bolting an appropriate piece of angle iron to the floor. Works well. I actually knocked a side off a piece of square tube too and place that over the angle iron and base cross member as well for "hold".

@@dynademos that's why I bolted a piece of angle iron to the floor, then I place the front crossmember of the lift against that when preparing to use the lift. Next time I use it I will send a pix.

Rookies. If the strap U-clamps are behind the front wheel axle it's going to want to pull the bike back. Move them up front. Walk the bike up while standing on the right of it and feather the clutch to walk it up.

I just bought this H.F. motorcycle lift but not assembled yet! Thanks to you I'm going to set front wheel clamp closer to front for my Dyna an going to put more stainless U-clamps more forward an toward rear on stand I'm by myself so you taught me to brace stand before mounting bike, Thanks, Tim p.s I see you have saddlebags mounted, are you ok with the metal bag cover hinge on outside of bike? If I had these bags I think I'd paint hinge rivets!

Tim Barnett yes that’s just how the original police bags were it’s a preference thing. I recommend buying the Pittsburgh motorcycle wheel chock also sold by hf I wouldn’t recommend loading your bike with one person unless u switch the wheel chock out and mount the stand to the ground as mine slid on the garage floor

Birdoneful I looked up the weight of an Electra glide it said 1300 pounds. The weight capacity of the the lift is 1000 so I’m gunna say no.

i got two of these lifts and ive had road kings, street glides even a few goldwing barges,never had a problem,but i put a wheel chock on that was 35$ and overnight let it down or put the lock bar in place and strap it down!!

Use it with our 99 ultra quite a bit.. picked up a j&s chock instead of factory clamp.. works amazing.. lift it up, Install bar, and lower down, super solid..

My only issue with this lift is that the wheel chuck does not feel that sturdy. I'd say upgrading to a better one would be a wise investment.

ford nut two people can lift it. It’s sturdy enough for our dynas with no worry of it not being able to support it . Honestly I would be comfortable putting a road glide on it. For 300 dollars your not gunna find a cheaper more sturdy lift

👾Yeah FXR's are great. I bought one back in 82(Shovelhead) and the guys on FX's were asking things like who's Sportster is that? (Rear shock angle) and then they got passed by it in the curves and on top and because it had a 5-speed and they didn't.

I put my dyna on by myself all the time. I keep ramp levers loose so I can quickly eliminate a trip hazard and always use the screw levelers to lift the wheels up before attempting. Be calm and think before you do it.

James Walker no it does not shoot down it lowers at a decent rate but not to fast. One thing I recommend immediately is getting rid of the stock wheel chock it comes with and invest in a Pittsburgh wheel chock offered from hf also. And I bought a cheap jack off of amazon to raise the frame

Be careful with that rear tire drop spot. My dad has the same lift he went to slide the back wheel of a sporty over once and that bitch fell threw🤣🤣 it was down luckily it was a pain i suggest putting 2 bolts on each sid of that plate just to keep it from doing that.

A word of caution about these Chinese made products....by brothers friend had one. Left his Street Glide on it overnight in the raised position. Came out in the morning to find the piece of junk broke / collapsed / bent, whatever...and his precious big bucks bike was on the floor smashed. Putting a $30k Harley on an an el cheapo junk lift.....priceless

Why does everyone put those fairings/tbars on their Dyna? Nothing kool about those or T Bars and seeing 100000 other bikes look the exact same out there while riding. No way that shit goes on mine.
