Splitting firewood 👍cutting is with a chainsaw and you cut down tree and buck them into rounds then split!!!👍

I have had mine for two years now and just love it. Fir is the wood I have up here in Montana so not very difficult and the 20 ton unit is all I need. A tip for those that don’t have a lift, assemble the splitter upside down. Yep, put the frame together minus the wheels and assemble it to the ram section upside down. Piece of cake to then just flip it all over taking care not to damage the threads on the axles. Finish it out after that with the motor and the rest.

Just a friendly tip. When you use the splitter. After the first split, lay the log on the flat side (not the round side). It will work MUCH better. Peace.

Where is the F150 - just kidding. Thanks for showing what's involved in assembly. Also the info on the Hydraulic Fluid and Engine Oil. I knew about the break in period on the predator engine. It looks like they installed the non hemi engine for it. That's a plus - because I heard the non hemi is the most reliable. Thanks Again!

I really wanted to get one of these. It went on sale for $679.00 and with shipping, handling and tax I was looking at around $825.00. This thing only comes with a 90 day warranty - but I was willing to take the chance - the way I saw it - I could always go to Harbor Freight and pickup a Predator Motor if the motor went bad. Unfortunately, the unit sale ended and they posted no sale end date. Then it went up in price from $799 to $999. With the shipping, handling and tax I was now looking at $1160.00. For that price I could spend a little more money and get a better warranty. I was disappointed. I felt for $825.00 it would have been worth the risk. So after looking around, I saw other splitters with more power and does vertical splits and a much better warranty. The other splitter I looked at specifically come already assembled and with all the fluids (execpt gas) already filled. I can even tow the other models legally. No charge for shipping and handling. So now I am glad they went up in price.

First, it is not wood cutting, it is wood splitting, second Let’s see how impressed yo are after splitting 60 cords of wood continuously, or as much wood as can be done in a week for a winter supply, then give a real review, also don’t use punky woods, but solid blocks of oak, maple, locust, all hard woods!

Common sense would or should tell a person that the wood splitter he is demonstrating is not intended to be used as a money making wood supply enterprise but for moderate use of splitting wood for personal use.
