Yeah iv had mine for about 4 years now. Never have had a problem with mine. And let me tell you now i have been rough on mine and it never skips a beat. Iv also ran it alot on my predator inverter generator and it does great. But first and only thing is they come with horrible mig gun and line so hop on htpamerica and get the 15' ungraded one. It makes this machine a beast and the ugraded gun is heavy duty and feels really good in the hand. I recently bought the everlast cyclone 212 and iv had it for about a year now and it just sits on the shelf. I always end up using the omnipro. Its well worth the money. And it burns 6010/6011 rods as good as all other electrodes. As an full time welder for the past 10 years i have used alot of big name brand welders over the years and still evertime i throw down a bead im smiling behind my helmet. Sorry for the book

Ive had my 220 for 3 years. No issues at all so far. If you didn't know, the Vulcan emblem on front folds down revealing a hidden compartment right under the 3 knobs.

I love your channel very, VERY much, i really do, I love it this much ❤❤❤there, I just gave some YT guy 3 hearts lol. I have went back to watch some of your older videos that I missed, mostly related to your TIG stuff (I already caught the go kart vids, which I love so much, and is what brought me to you) .... but I have to say this ..... I can not bring myself to buy any Harbor Freight welder over a Primeweld welder. Just for starters, three months vs three years warranties .. Not that HF has given me bad customer service in the past, they have been great so far, but pw has already been great even before I purchase, plus their incredible customer service reputation, plus all the seemingly pro level welders not only praising their machines but actually using them in subsequent videos, even though they have millers .....I'm glad you review these HF machines, it means a lot to me. I just want to let you know, even though nobody on earth may never read this far into a random yt comment .. that I am about to buy pw and will not buy hf. As far as cheap chinese welders go, I can not, in my mind, put arccaptain, yeswelder, dekopro, harbor freight, or any others above pw. I have considered for almost 2 years now, while I use my cheap 120v FCAW as my learning, intro to welding. I enjoy you channel very much, please keep making these great vid for us, just wanted to let you know one subscribers opinion.

I read all my comments, may take a while before I get to them but I do read them! Primeweld puts out great welders, I've had a couple in the past. Let everyone know what you pick up, the projects used on, and how you like it!

Just got my Titanium 125 last month - but I am already eyeing true MIG and stick. And sure as heck can't justify a Miller or Lincoln. Good to know the Vulcan is a respectable option. Though I will probably stay with Titanium.

I just put my spool on, fed 2" out and am trying the step where you put against wood to see if tension is right to bend wire. Nothing at all. I've tried every tension between 3-5.Will not even feed wire at all when press trigger. Am using .035 wire. Any tips anyone can offer will be appreciated.

Pro Tip: I set my MIG Run-In rate to 34% for smooth starts. The factory pre-set of 25% usually burns back, causing false starts on my machine. Hope that helps someone!

Education video except makes my problem a bit clearer. About four years ago purchased a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric welder. Nothing fancy or expensive just a good welder for DYI use. My friend borrowed it for repairs about one year ago before we moved. Now I have some welding projects. Do I drive the 325 miles round trip at gas costing $120. Or just spend those dollars on a new MiG welder costing $150+. The new welders have so many advantages and features.
@jameswow2836
@jameswow2836 Жыл бұрын
I’d say it depends on the type of welding you’re doing. If the CE is good enough and you feel like wasting not only money but your time 6 hours give or take or buy an affordable titanium MiG machine or a multi process unit and save yourself the $120+ in gas and 6 hour trip for no reason

For stick welding, how long are the leads? And could you add length to each lead if you needed?
@-DIYPRO-

They are 10 ft. Possibly yes, they terminate with a dines connection so you could potentially make an extension cord with dines ends.

Was wanting one but fell short on the total amount. The manager would not cut me any slack at all. Had 1150 bucks , was going to pay the leftover with my credit card but total was 1300 something and I asked him if I could get a little help with price, and he said Sorry fella. I was like , dang. Your gonna let me walk out? Shrugged his shoulders ...So I Went and bought a weld-pro for 600 bucks. Never used. Welds like a dream. Nice little multi process welder . 200 amp. too. Love your channel btw. However I'm Not gonna support HF anymore. (of Lincolnton NC). Have a blessed day sir. Will stay tuned for more of your footage/videos.

Home Depot and Lowes you can usually talk them into giving you a 10% discount, Harbor Freight doesn't even do the their 20% anymore, even with that coupon they had so many exceptions too.

I'm just a hobbyist. I bought a 220 back in like 2018 and used it to mig a couple times, then I didn't use until this year. I ran about four feet of bead in six inch intervals and then last night I ran a bead of about a foot. When I went to run another bead, nothing happened when I pressed the trigger. No gas, no wire feed, no sound. The cold wire feed still works. I've searched YT and I found a video about a similar issue, but on a Miller (Lincoln?) welder. So I guess I'm going to disassemble the gun and see if I can find anything. If that doesn't fix it, I guess I'll try to finish with stick. Anybody got any ideas?

Stick is flux core wire turned inside out and bulked up. That's why they like it for bridges & such where the wind would tend to blow the gas away. So I hear - I'm just a fan boy getting my feet wet.
