That was well worth the wait! Looks like you had an experience like no other , thanks for sharing a glimpse of all the underwater life. I thought when I dived off east Africa several years ago , there were a lot fish swimming around but nowhere near as many as you saw. Not to forget the sharks, hammerheads , and whale sharks, Fabulous ! . Cheers ! 😃🍻🥂

WOW! What an amazing time you had diving the Galápagos Islands! I'm very happy that you were able to have such great experiences underwater. Diving can be such a great time, or such a horrific experience depending on conditions, who you are diving with and the types of gear you have to use. All of which can either make or break a dive experience! I am so happy for you both that in this experience everything came together for the best time. When you get to Australia, I'll take you diving here in Sydney, but don't expect that sort of a show! Ha Ha. Fair 💨 and following 🌊 for your⛵ travels!

Thanks so much GB Sailing! You are absolutely correct, great diving is dependent on many factors and we lucked out! We’re looking forward to meeting you when we get down under even if we don’t go diving. 😜

Hi! Thank you for your concern with the “reef”! It is really heartwarming to hear from someone else who has a deep love for coral. These are the Galapagos and there is no coral at all. Those are volcanic rocks and there is no vegetation on them. I am assuming you are a diver and I am also assuming you have never dove the Galapagos. You can only dive under the strict supervision of the authorized park guides who instruct you to hold on to the rocks when you move. The current is so strong that you would be swept away. So we crawl holding onto the rocks and wait on the ledges until the guide tells us to move. It is a breathtaking experience in one of the most natural and preserved natural parks in the world! No annals or coral were I Jared during the filming if these scenes. Thank you for watching our videos and for your comment. 😊😊🤩

At 3:14 your mask looked pretty fogged up. Do you use defogger?
@HarborsUnknown2 жыл бұрын
I did use defogger but it was fogging pretty badly on the first couple dives. It was a newish mask and I had burned it once but clearly that wasn’t enough. The guys on the boat burned it for me again then left toothpaste on it for a good bit and then cleaned it out. That helped a lot. Then I started using baby shampoo just before diving and kept cold water in it until just before I jumped in. All those things did the trick, lol! 😂
@gbsailing94362 жыл бұрын
@@HarborsUnknown Human spit is really good to stop the mask fogging up. But the mask needs to be WELL clean with toothpaste prior to diving. Once clean, just prior to jumping in just spit in you mask, wipe it around the glass and then rinse in the ocean, and put it on. Done! In 35 years of diving I've never needed defogger or detergent (especially as these may irritate the eyes). Spit is also more environmentally friendly! Enjoy!
