Met lem mikkey and Phil after a gig in Manchester back In 2014. Lem was very frail but fuck me they didn't miss a beat the whole gig., me and my uncle waited for 4 hours outside the apollo just to say hello and thanks for the music, they were the most down to earth lads I've ever met I was so blown away. There appreciation of the fans was fkn brilliant.All they were worried about was the sound good😂. We flew from Ireland and missed the flight back we waited 8 hours for another 1 we didn't give a fuck we were buzzing., what a guy what a band but most of all what a fkn gentleman.

Absolutely brilliant!..Lemmy really was very witty, genuinely and naturally very funny..If Lemmy hadn't been the fantastic musician and songwriter he was and Motörhead hadn't existed (thank god, and Ted Carroll, they did!), I do believe the doors to stand-up comedy would have beckoned...Lemmy, total one-off and true original...powerhouse

I used to have a VHS dub of that debut Hard & Heavy video magazine (featuring members of Death Angel in the framing sequences), and loved the whole thing, including this classic Lemmy show and tell. As a fan of Michael Moorcock's fiction, I appreciate the little exposition Lemmy provides about the author's stage fright during his poetry recitals with Hawkwind! Thank you for posting and sharing this!

I have to give cred' to Lemmy for convincing me to go from Crown Royal to Jack, despite all the reviews in favor of CR it seems. Jack is just dirtier, earthier, more satisfying. Leaves a much better taste in your mouth and doesn't feel like you drank an OTR full of sugar. And naturally....the music :)
@Mikey77B6 жыл бұрын
MaestroDraven I love Jack Daniels, but I love Crown Royal too. One's good with Coca-Cola and one's good with Ginger Ale. If you like Jack Daniels, you have to try the Sinatra Select. It's not cheap - but it's AWESOME!!! I'm not good with that acronyms; what does OTR mean?

love ya Lemmy. But the failure of the ME 109 is not that it couldn't leave the ground. The problem was they couldn't land. Nice model though.
@wazooza27288 жыл бұрын
It used to flip over sometimes during landing or taking off...
@xmonster7418 жыл бұрын
Some planes have had incidents while taking off but it wasn't a problem. The landing/ takeoff gear was a problem while landing. 1/3 of all the me 109's that were destroyed in ww2 were from landing... ( So my documentary's tell me).. But who really knows.
@wazooza27288 жыл бұрын
Also I think Lem means that because of a lack fuel they couldn´t take off which is right too^^
