Thunder Wool A little bit floaty when changing directions but I found the controls to be pretty good overall. No major issues during platforming stages, it's worth a play at some point!

It gets a lot better when you actually use the double jump as well. Picalu didn't really avoid the running mafia goon properly, it's really easy if you just jump again in the air, you can even change directions in mid-air when doing so.

Very true Xander, this video doesn't do the jumps/physics justice, I was looking at the sandbags instead of the mafia guys. If you want to see the platforming mechanics at their best check out a video on the Time Rifts, they really show off what the game has to offer.

Alright, that's understandable about the sandbags, and yeah that's true about the Time Rifts, they're some of the best examples of the platforming in this game, even if they usually have much less ground than most of the main acts.
