Which does bring up the point: how old is shadow anyway? I know that he's at least 50 due to him being locked up but I don't know how old he was prior , nor as of now

@@idosarts_and_krafts not to get too much into what is something of an open minefield, but technically, he's only at least 50 chronologically. He was in stasis for those 50 years, so I don't think you can really count him as having aged in that time. But outside of that, at one point, he was canonically the same age as Sonic (15), but those ages were scrapped in more recent years. So like every other character, he's in the ??? zone, with the caveat of immortality making things a little messy

THIS IS SO PEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The little touches on the sprites (Shadow angrily tugging on his hat, Espio picking petals faster the more nervous he is, Amy’s candles lighting up when she’s mad, Barry using Apollo’s sweating sprite, AMY’S HAMMER AS THE GAVEL) really tie this together as such a perfect mashup between the two franchises, it feels so much like both it’s SO GOOD

This is amazing. The little details like Vector filling in the prosecutor role because he’s the “karma collector” and Amy being the judge using her Piko Piko hammer as a gavel is so well thought out. I would love it if the official Sonic social media managers got together again and did a full blown sequel to the Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog as a Miles Edgeworth: Investigations type of game. I like how Barry's sprites are based on Apollo's sprites, rather than Phoenix's, I think Apollo's more exaggerated sprites and his character's body type fit Barry much better than Phoenix would.

Damn, the amount of details AND references in this are amazing! The details of the rings being the health (and even making them glow as they do to showcase how bad a mistake will be, like in the actual games), the parallels drawn between characters animations (Vector and Klavier, Barry and Pheonix, Tails and Maya, Shadow and... Ini Miney(?)) while also giving them their own unique traits (Vector slamming his tail instead of fist, Amy using her hammer as a gavel,) and I believe Espio even had a truly unique breakdown, too? And a well made one, at that! This definitely needed custom sprites, and they all seem to fit the style of the source game really well! Kudos to you!

Oh my goodness oh my GOSH!!! I funnily enough played and beat this for the first time yesterday-so imagine my joy at seeing something so recent and TRULY excellent! I love this so much; I can really see the love for both franchises here. Seriously-- there's SO MUCH I love here. Vector's tail hitting the wall to create that "thud!", the rest of the cast (and some chao) being the jury, ALL THE IDLE ANIMATIONS!!!, Shadow taking off one of his keys to fidget with it, Amy's candles IGNITING when she's angry, and- god. Of course. Espio's breakdown. (And the lights being off in the courthouse after! They had to turn them back on!! I laughed SO HARD at that). This is just perfection in a can. NOW we're cooking with crisco! Truly fun to watch, thank you
