Thank you for this video! My youngest bought me a Nostalgia machine 2 Christmases ago (he knows i LOOOVE cotton candy) and i haven't taken it out of the box cuz i know once i do i will blow up like a balloon cuz i won't stop eating it...seriously i could eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner🤤!! Now i just have to pick up some sugar free hard candies and give it a whirl! I'll pick up some paper straws too! Can't wait!

Depends on if they are heat stable or not. Every brand is different.

You don't have to crush them very fine. You can even put them in whole. I love the Jolly Ranchers in there, so yummy!

Sugar free substitutes have not worked for us, strictly only sugar free hard candy.

Hi! I just started making cotton candy and trying out hard candies in my Carnival King machine. I used Werther's regular hard caramels, and they seemed to burn in the machine and leave a huge mess. Some caramel tufts were coming out the rest of the night while I tried other things. The only issue I noticed with other hard candies was just sugar being spewed everywhere, even with the dome on. Any idea why this might be? I thought maybe the fact the caramels had cream listed in the ingredients, but I'm guessing your sugar-free option does as well. Not sure where I went wrong, but definitely not what I was going for. Thanks!

I know I used to put a receptacle with male threads in my lamps socket for the light bulb on a dim switch and I could play music at a real slow speed so I could write words down when I was a teen ,lol, this was some years ago.

I wonder if cough drops would work 😅 It's allergy season and Antihistamine make me thirsty.
