Raced our IMCA car at Merritt Speedway. Passed the most cars and parked it in victory lane for win #6 on the year!

@@CollinThirlbyRacing Well restarts have been good in my eyes, which is essentially what everyone I worked with in 2001 won because of restarts with A feature with 20 or more cars, 25 times from the back to the win, 36 features I was actually there when we won, and somewhere over 60 features out of 200 plus races I personally attended from January to December one week before Christmas! Went to 21 straight races in a row from June into July, while still working a full time job. (Which again the vast majority of them the drivers I was working with won the feature off of restarts.) I will also add that during the 2001race season I was played a role in seven track, and regional championships for modified's and one late model track championship! Which again was mostly due to restarts, with drivers who claimed not to be good at restarts!

They help when your not leading or you get stuck behind guys for too long and have a big gap to the guy in front. The restarts that drive me nuts are the ones where they cant get a lap in and you have to try all over again. Sometimes u give up your plan of attack

Thanks for following along! IMCA sanction has their own way to do lineups weekly. They base it off a 3 race point average so the highest in points will start in the back of the heat and around 12th in the feature

oh man...my dream is to get in to one of these mods!!!! one day.....i took a old 1998 warrior chassis i got for free..cut te front clip off to convert to a mini mod did some work to the back too....ran a 2.3 4 cylinder ..234hp .car was the most fun i ever had... high side hustler!!! i always loved going out for practice/ hot laps with those late models!!! they would eat me down the back stretch but in the corners that lil warrior would go wide open with the front left FOR SALE around the corner.. never touched the ground ... i never had to lift!!!
