For those who don't know: Around that area of Oklahoma, they test the tornado sirens at noon every Saturday. All of them turn on for 15-30 seconds, nothing to worry about. During a heavy storm, however, the sirens mean that there is a real threat of tornadoes. Most of us wake up immediately if it happens in the middle of the night and begin what is, for me, a routine response of grabbing some entertainment, a pillow, and maybe a radio or something and heading towards the safest room in the house. This is typically a small closet or bathroom located in the center of the main floor, away from any windows. It happens more often than you think, mostly during the summer. I have never in my life actually seen a tornado with my own eyes, but sometimes if it's daytime the sky turns green. source: I also live in Oklahoma, and if I'm understanding it correctly I'm probably within 40 minutes of Alpha. Edit: before it gets weird, no, I'm not going to go looking for his house. That would be weird and I have more important things to do. I have no precise knowledge of his whereabouts, but I have the imprecise knowledge of him and his group living somewhere relatively nearby. That's all you're getting, whether or not I'm lying.
