This video is more important! Seriously, though. Does anyone even use Gentoox anymore? It feels like the days of modded consoles are over. That was back when a console was seriously cheap for the amount of power it gave you compared to your average PC cost. Computers are pretty cheap now. A Raspberry Pi 4b is insanely capable for its size and costs a fraction of what a console does and is designed to be hacked. Out of interest, how did you stumble upon this video? :P

I found this video looking for Gentoox. You made a comment on a video that claimed it was Gentoox, but it wasn't. I noticed your screen name and checked out your content and was disappointed that such an old channel had no content about Gentoox. Because I am looking for information on Gentoox. The website left many questions, so I was hoping to find a working demonstration of Gentoox. I still use my xbox soft modded and the current release of xbmc is an absolute joke, so I wanted to try your media center version of Gentoox. Everything is gone out there after sceneX died. Afterdawn is still up, but Xbox info is now archived. Using archive org for sceneX is ok, but you can't run a search query because databases aren't catalogued, which of course makes sense. Lastly, the people at xbmc Xbox who seem to remain active don't seem to be programmers, and are a bunch of cowards and do-nothing's. That the brunt of Xbox life out there anymore. Cowards afraid and web forums with few answers, dead links for software, or hidden software through proxy sign up walls for things such as add-ons and plugins for emulators.

@@AgeofReason yikes... Well, if you need any help with stuff, feel free to get in touch and I'll help where I can: gentoox@shallax.com Gentoox MCE probably still works, but I bet the codecs are all woefully out of date.

@@ShALLaX thanks man. Perhaps someday I'll drop you an email. In the meantime, how's society looking out your way during this global shift?

Probably the same as everywhere. It’s bringing out the best and the worst, though not in equal measures. Hoarding, selfishness but occasional signs of people actually being considerate and kind to each other.
