in my highschool workshop class one of the assignments was build a trebuchet and we were the last year to do it because we blew the timber budget for the rest of the year and built them too big to fit out of the workshop doorway. Most of the class didn't use any theory to build just pure vibes so most of them shot straight up or straight into the ground. 10/10 class
